Hi there,
So suddenly I turned from a searcher to a person who offers an extra room in the apartment where I'm moving in soon! This is an apartment in a lovely neighbourhood, with beautiful streets and old buildings.
There are 2 rooms available in one of those buildings, they both are around 23-25 sq.m. One will be taken by me and the other one will be available. The apartment is nice - big rooms, and 2 bathrooms. Tenants (a couple) who've been living there may even paint the walls in those 2 rooms after they leave soon. Each room has an individual access, the only disadvantage is that there is a door between those 2 rooms, so we'll hear each other pretty well, and therefore will need some certain respect to each other! :) Anyway, I think if we get along well, it won't be a problem.
The rooms look pretty stuffed and messy now, since the current tenants are moving out soon, but I'm looking forward to making a nice and cosy place out of the apartment.
The rooms are unfurnished.
Internet speed is awesome - I personally verified haha.
Good connection to all transportation. The nearest station is Halensee. It take about 3 minutes to get there on foot.
So there are 2 people in the apartment:
Thomas, 33, German, studied Computer Science, now works as an IT guy in the University. Very nice guy, and I'm looking forward to practicing my German with him :) Thomas would like the place to be quite, which is not a problem for me. Inviting friends is of course ok! I think we could always communicate organizing something bigger, if it's needed, and come to a mutual agreement :)
I'm Elvira, 26, from a pretty infamous place - Crimea. I moved to Berlin about 2 months ago to start my master's here in Data Science. I also work part-time in an IT company, so pretty busy most of the time with study and work. I'm sociable, communicative and looking forward to having another nice roommate who Thomas and I would get along well with.
I'm always open to having fun together, going out, watching tv (which I don't have), etc.. If you play squash - that would be just awesome, as it's always hard to find a squash partner :)
Anyway, it would be just nice to feel comfortable with each other. And if we could become friends and occasionally do stuff together, that would be super cool. :)
The room is available starting the end of this week, but it's also possible to move in a bit later, like in the middle of November.
Please write something about yourself (the more the better) and link to your facebook profile would be nice too! We'll schedule the meetings afterwards:)
Looking forward to hearing from you!
