You are looking for a friendly Berlin retreat? I'm looking for friendly subleter(s) that would appreciate and enjoy my 65 sqm place in Kreuzberg!
It’s a very light, cozy, charming 2 room apartment featuring all basics without much knick-knack or gadgets (no tv, no internet-I recommend a surfstick). There is a double-bed sleeping room, large living room with stereo, bathroom with a tub and a kitchen well equipped for people who love cooking.
The bedroom in particular is very quiet. The living room has a wooden floor and a long windowsill desk for mental activity among many plants. Here you will also find a double futon, hammock and comfy couch for relaxing and -depending on your standards- as additional sleeping possibility.
You will stay in an oasis in the center of lively Wrangelkiez, a few steps away from Goerlitzer Park. The hallway has been decorated with fun stencil art by my friends. There is an additional small walk through room where you can store clothes etc.
You will find everything you need, including sheets. The place is fully furnished but not overloaded.It’s a lovely place for guests who prefer atmosphere and character over luxury!
I love my apartment and would be happy to know someone is staying there who treats it with the same care as I do.

Wrangelkiez offers all the charme Berlin is famous for! It's a fast changing area, which went from dodgy underground to international neighborhood living in the past few years. The change has brought a colorful variety of cafes, bars, art projects, nightlife locations and many good food places, that exist alongside the small Turkish groceries and local shops that go way back. You might even discover one of the left over dodgy corners! Close by are the banks of river Spree and Landwehr-Canal with it's big Turkish market. Many interesting places are in walking distance, public transport will take you fast everywhere else.
The apartment is best suited for two people. The smaller sleeping room has a double bed, the bigger living room additional, less comfortable sleeping possibilities. It's on the 4th floor, no elevator, the up-side being good training for your legs!
600 Euro is the total rent per month, this includes electricity. There will be a deposit.
If you are interested please write a few things about yourself/yourselves, since you will be staying in my personal space. Most important are friendliness and respect for my apartment!
