Adlershof is a quiet but charming area. There is a good range of supermarket choices nearby, with discounters and more premium options, with several good international grocery stores too meaning I very rarely need to travel into the city for anything special. Netto is next door to the apartment meaning it's super convenient for daily small shopping.

Some decent enough fast food options and restaurants nearby, as well as a McDonalds just down the road.

The apartment itself is situated about a 10 minutes walk from Adlershof S-Bahn connection.
- Ostkreuz: 15 minutes
- Neukölln: 12 minutes
- BER Airport: 17 minutes
- Alexanderplatz: 25 minutes

There is a bus service right outside the door which will take you to Adlershof S-Bahn in 5 minutes or to Rudow U-Bahn to connect to the U7 in about 15 minutes.
