We are a creative community and living project in our 13 person WG - "Die Wilde 13".
We are looking for a new flatmate starting June 1st. (early move in possible)
The room available is 18m2 with 2 large windows that face the garden terrace - you can walkout your window straight into the shared rooftop garden terrace.
We have a big shared living room (80m2) and kitchen (18m2), and
The flat is located in an industrial courtyard with workshops, an acrobat circus next door, and KAOS Berlin (coworking workshop) is also next door.
The house is located 50 meters from the Spree. There we have our own riverside dock with an old dutch police boat. The boat belongs to us and has been renovated - while there's continuous maintenance, we're looking forward to summer excursions
Our place is very well connected:
-The tram stop is a 5 min walk from the house (21, 27, M17, 60, 67)
-The S-Bahn station(S45, S46, S47, S8, S9, S85) is a 15 min walk or you can get the tram 2 stops to the station.
-The 365 Bus is directly in front of the house.
-The 165 bus route is an 8 min walk from the house.
Our flat is a community, although we all have our own lives and the flat is usually calm and quiet. However we do like to eat dinner together, have drinks, watch a movie on the projector, gardening or BBQ party on the terrace etc.
We also like to work on renovating the flat and doing projects together, ex. renovating the boat to get it ready for summer.
We have a big dog and when isn't with her mother is on the hunt for cuddles and crumbs.
We have a cleaning plan, so it's important that the person likes things to be tidy and is OK with cleaning sometimes (at least once per month)
We would like to find someone who wants to be a part of this community rather than just a tenant in the house. And someone who is interested in joining us to make this space even more awesome!!
Our ideal candidate would be someone who is open minded, creative, environmentally conscious, and is happy to be part of the community projects ad continuous upgrades. Bonus points for glitter.
