Das Zimmer ist mit ca. 18m² zwar das kleinste Zimmer in der WG, aber dank der Lage zum Innenhof das Ruhigste. Auch wenn wir am Ring wohnen hörst du bei offenen Fenster nichts vom Verkehr.
Das Zimmer ist nach Süden ausgerichtet und das in Kombination mit seinen sehr hohen Decken bedeutet, dass du es dort tagsüber schön hell hast. Der Fußboden ist aus Holzdielen. Das Zimmer ist nicht möbliert!

The room, with approximately 18m², is the smallest in the shared apartment, but due to its location facing the courtyard, it is the quietest. Even though we live near the ring road, you won't hear any traffic when the windows are open.
The room faces south, and combined with its very high ceilings, means you'll have plenty of natural light during the day. The floor is made of wooden floorboards. The room is unfurnished!
Unsere Wohnung liegt direkt am Ring. In 4min ist man an der Haltestelle Hamburger Straße und hat damit Anbindungen zu allen wichtigen Stationen. Bis zur TU sind es 10min zu Fuß. Außerdem ist der Inselwallpark 5min entfernt und auch zum Ölper See ist es nicht weit (gute Laufstrecke). Einkaufsmöglichkeiten bietet ein Rewe (3min) oder Edeka (7min). In die Innenstadt sind es ca. 15min zu Fuß oder 5min mit dem Fahrrad.
Falls du Lust auf Pizza oder Döner hast gibt es im nahem Umkreis auch sehr gute Auswahlmöglichkeiten.
In den anliegenden Straßen gibt es Bewohnerparken, aber wir kennen einen kleinen Spot einmal über die Straße, wo man eigentlich immer einen kostenlosen Parkplatz findet.

Our apartment is located right by the ring road. In 4 minutes, you can reach the Hamburger Straße tram stop, providing connections to all major destinations. It's a 10-minute walk to the Technical University. Additionally, Inselwallpark is a 5-minute walk away, and Ölper See isn't far either (great running route). For shopping, there's a Rewe (3 minutes away) or Edeka (7 minutes away). The city center is approximately a 15-minute walk or a 5-minute bike ride.
If you're in the mood for pizza or kebabs, there are excellent options nearby.
Resident parking is available in the adjacent streets, but we know a small spot just across the street where you can almost always find a free parking space.
Unsere WG besteht aus Jannes (33), beendet gerade eine Ausbildung als Fachinformatiker und Daniel (33), arbeitet als Senior Developer und steckt in den letzten Zügen seines Informatikstudiums.
Jannes kannst du regelmäßig bei seinen Laufrunden um den nahegelegenen See finden oder in einem der wenigen Techno-Clubs hier in BS.
Daniel verbringt seine Freizeit gerne mit einem guten Buch (z.B. von Terry Pratchett) oder mit langen Spaziergängen. Außerdem beschäftigt er sich gerne mit seiner stetig wachsenden Kollektion an Smart Home Geräten, die sich aber nur auf sein Zimmer beschränken.

Our shared apartment consists of Jannes (33), currently undergoing training as an IT specialist, and Daniel (33), working as a Senior Developer and in the final stages of his computer science studies.
You can often find Jannes on his regular running routes around the nearby lake or in one of the few techno clubs here in BS.
Daniel enjoys spending his free time with a good book (such as those by Terry Pratchett) or taking long walks. Additionally, he likes to tinker with his steadily growing collection of smart home devices, although they are confined to his room only.
