Best location ever in the nice Weststadt district. Numerous supermarkets and shopping facilities nearby (Alnatura, Nahkauf, bakery and others).
Weststadt/Südstadt station (Lines 23, 24, 29) 8 min. away.
Alois-Link-Platz (Line 39 to EMBL and MPI) 5 min. away.
Dass ich nun nach anderthalb Jahren aus dieser tollen WG ausziehe, tut mir sehr leid. Die Mitbewohner sind super-nett und sehr entspannt. Cristina promoviert in Entwicklungsökonomik, Asha ist technische Autorin in einer Softwarefirma, Francisco ist Data Scientist am DKFZ.
Die gemeinsamen Kochabende, Spieleabende, Filmabende, Spaziergänge usw. werde ich sehr vermissen. Aber alles kann, nichts muss - man kann natürlich auch jederzeit seine Ruhe haben.
Da alle Mitbewohner berufstätig sind (zur Zeit größtenteils im Home Office), ist das WG-Leben ansonsten eher ruhig, eine Party-WG sind wir nicht.
Putzplan ist vorhanden und funktioniert :)

I feel quite sad to move out of this great shared apartment after a year and a half. The flatmates are super nice and very relaxed. Cristina is doing her PhD in development economics, Asha is a technical writer at a software company, Francisco is a data scientist at DKFZ.
I will miss the cooking evenings, game nights, movie nights, walks, etc. very much. But no pressure - of course you can always have your peace and quiet.
Since all roommates are working (at the moment mostly from home), the flat-sharing life is otherwise rather quiet, we are not a party WG.
Cleaning schedule exists and works :)
Wegen des Geschlechterverhältnisses würden wir eher einen Mann bevorzugen, das ist aber kein Ausschlusskriterium.
Optimalerweise wärst du in einem ähnlichen Alter bzw. Lebenssituation wie wir (Berufsanfänger/fortgeschrittenes Studium).
