🏡 Room in a five-person WG in a house with a huge garden in Kirchentellinsfurt - ideal for students/PhDs who enjoy a quieter way of living.
🛏️ The room is on the first floor, underneath the attic and facing our beautiful garden. The room faces south, and, since we are at the top of a hill, there is sun all day around. The bathroom will be shared with another housemate, although the shower will be only for you since the other room has a private shower.
🥘The kitchen is on the ground floor and has lots of space. It's fully equipped with a dishwasher, fridge, microwave, oven, and even blenders and mixers for smoothies and baking. Cutlery and cooking utensils are all shared, although you can bring your own. We also have a barbecue and a tea house outside, which we are allowed (and encouraged) to use freely. In the summer, we always organise barbecues all together.
👕In the basement, we have a washing machine and a dryer that we can use free of charge (the electricity and water are included in the Nebenkosten already). There is enough space to dry our clothes, and in the summer it's always nice to hang them outside and let them dry in the sun.
🏎️ We have a garage for one car (currently unoccupied) and a shed for our bikes and other objects.

🏡 Zimmer in einer Fünfer-WG in einem Haus mit großem Garten in Kirchentellinsfurt – ideal für Studierende/Doktoranden, die eine ruhige Wohnsituation bevorzugen.
🛏️ Das Zimmer befindet sich im ersten Stock, unter dem Dachgeschoss, und bietet Blick auf unseren schönen Garten. Es ist nach Süden ausgerichtet, und da wir auf einem Hügel wohnen, ist es den ganzen Tag sonnig. Das Badezimmer teilen Sie sich mit einem anderen Mitbewohner, die Dusche steht Ihnen jedoch allein zur Verfügung, da das andere Zimmer über eine eigene Dusche verfügt.
🥘Die geräumige Küche befindet sich im Erdgeschoss und ist komplett ausgestattet mit Geschirrspüler, Kühlschrank, Mikrowelle, Backofen sowie Mixern und Rührgeräten für Smoothies und Backwaren. Besteck und Kochutensilien werden geteilt, Sie können aber gerne Ihre eigenen mitbringen. Draußen gibt es außerdem einen Grill und eine Teestube, die wir gerne frei nutzen dürfen. Im Sommer veranstalten wir regelmäßig gemeinsame Grillabende.
👕Im Keller befinden sich eine Waschmaschine und ein Trockner, die wir kostenlos nutzen können (Strom und Wasser sind bereits in den Nebenkosten enthalten). Es gibt genügend Platz zum Wäschetrocknen, und im Sommer ist es immer schön, die Wäsche draußen in der Sonne trocknen zu lassen.
🏎️ Wir haben eine Garage für ein Auto (derzeit leerstehend) und einen Schuppen für unsere Fahrräder und andere Gegenstände.
🚅 The house is at the top of the mountain, and 10 minutes away from the Kirchentellinsfurt train station. From there, it's a 7-minute train ride to Tübingen and 10 minutes to Reutlingen. When the trains fail (cause we all know DB at this point lol), there are two bus options (albeit with transfers) that can get you to Tübingen and back, although it takes roughly 30 minutes.
🏎️ We are also relatively close to Stuttgart, which is only 30 minutes by car and 1 hour by train.

🚅 Das Haus liegt oben auf dem Berg und 10 Minuten vom Bahnhof Kirchentellinsfurt entfernt. Von dort sind es 7 Minuten mit der Bahn nach Tübingen und 10 Minuten nach Reutlingen. Wenn die Züge ausfallen (denn wir alle kennen die DB zu diesem Zeitpunkt, lol), gibt es zwei Busoptionen (allerdings mit Umsteigen), die Sie nach Tübingen und zurück bringen, obwohl die Fahrt etwa 30 Minuten dauert.
🏎️ Auch nach Stuttgart sind wir relativ nah, mit dem Auto sind es nur 30 Minuten und mit der Bahn 1 Stunde.
👩🏻🏫👩💻👨🏻🔬There are currently three people living in the WG: Aida, Ari, and Byoungsoo. Aida (20) is in the second year of her computational linguistics Bachelor's at the University of Tübingen, Ari (24) is finishing her Master's Thesis in English literatures and cultures at the same university, and Byoungsoo (27) is in his first year of his PhD in Neuroscience at the Tübingen AI Center.
We would like people to know that Ari and Byoungsoo are a couple. They have been together for 3 and a half years and share a room; however, their relationship does not really impact the WG dynamics :) If you are unsure about living with a couple, we can also give you the contact of our previous housemates and you can ask them anything you would like to know. 🫶

Wir möchten, dass die Leute wissen, dass Ari und Byoungsoo ein Paar sind. Sie sind seit dreieinhalb Jahren zusammen und teilen sich ein Zimmer; Allerdings hat ihre Beziehung keinen wirklichen Einfluss auf die WG-Dynamik :) Falls ihr euch unsicher seid, ob ihr mit einem Paar zusammenleben wollt, können wir euch auch die Kontaktdaten unserer vorherigen Mitbewohner geben, und ihr könnt ihnen alles fragen, was ihr wissen möchtet. 🫶
🗺️ Due to the internationality of our WG, we are mostly interested in people with a good English level, but having perfect English speaking skills is also not a requirement, and making mistakes is totally OK!
🧼 Cleanliness is very important to us, especially in the kitchen, and we ask that any future housemates respect that.
🥬🍗🥗🥩We would also like you to know that, while we respect any dietary choices, we will not accommodate them (medical conditions such as gluten intolerance are, of course, exempt, and we will do our best to avoid cross-contamination, no worries!). - Everyone is welcome!
