Hallöchen liebe*r Mitbewohner*in in spe, wir suchen wieder jemanden, der*die unsere Truppe für 5 Monate (Oktober - Februar) vervollständigt, Da einer unserer Mitbewohnis ins Auslandssemester geht. :) Das Zimmer befindet sich in einer bunt gemischten WG, die zurzeit aus 7 Personen besteht. Wir wohnen in einem historischen Haus in Alt-Saarbrücken, mit einer kleinen Grünfläche und einem Brunnen neben dem Haus. Außerdem haben wir einen tollen Gewölbekeller mit einer Bar-Theke, Sofas sowie einer Dartscheibe und einer Leinwand (obwohl unser Beamer leider ausgezogen ist momentan). Das Zimmer ist 15m2 groß und kostet all inclusive (Wasser, Strom, Heizung, Internet) 250 Euro. Ein Hochbett gibt es auch, in dem es sich recht kuschelig schlafen lässt. Darunter gibt es eine muckelige kleine Höhle zum entspannen.

Hi there, future flatmate! We’re looking for someone to join our group for 5 months (October–February), since one of our roommates is going abroad for an exchange semester. :) The room is in a diverse shared apartment that currently consists of 7 people. We live in a historic house in Alt-Saarbrücken, with a small green space and a fountain next to the house. We also have a great vaulted basement with a bar counter, sofas, a dartboard, and a screen (although our projector is unfortunately out of commission at the moment). The room is 15m2 and costs 250 euros all-inclusive (water, electricity, heat, internet). There’s also a loft bed where you can sleep quite comfortably. Underneath, there’s a cozy little nook for relaxing.

Das Haus ist mit seiner Position am Schloss sehr zentral gelegen. Lebensmittelgeschäfte, ÖPNV und die Innenstadt sind zu Fuß binnen weniger Minuten erreichbar.

With its location near the castle, the house is very centrally located. Grocery stores, public transportation, and the city center are all within a few minutes' walk.

Unsere WG besteht aus Studenten und Berufstätigen.
Das Wg Leben lässt sich als sehr harmonisch beschreiben.
Eins unserer Highlights, der Gewölbekeller, wird als "Wohnzimmer" fest ins WG Leben integriert. Darin haben schon die ein oder andere Jamsession stattgefunden und werden regelmäßig Spiel-, Film- und Pizzaabende veranstaltet. Neben der zuvor erwähnten Leinwand besitzen wir nämlich einen Pizzaofen.
Bei der Anzeige handelt es sich nicht um eine Zweck-WG. Wir würden uns wünschen, dass der/die neue Bewohner*in sich in das WG Leben miteinbringt.
Bei so vielen Bewohner*innen kommt man natürlich nicht um einen Putzplan herum. Dieser wird von uns über eine App geregelt und jede*r Mitbewohner*in kommt so in einem regelmäßigen Rhythmus dazu, seine/ihre wildesten Putzfantasien auszuleben.
Ergänzend ist noch zu sagen, dass nahezu alle Mitbewohner Mitglieder in einer Akademischen Sportverbindung sind, was sich eigentlich fast ausschließlich darin widerspiegelt, dass wir versuchen, einmal in der Woche gemeinsam Sport zu machen. Dabei steht wöchentlich etwas anderes auf dem Programm, was demokratisch entschieden wird. Bouldern und Beachvolleyball gehören dabei zu unseren Favoriten ;)

Our shared apartment is made up of students and workers.
Life in the shared apartment can be described as very harmonious.
One of our highlights, the vaulted cellar, is firmly integrated into our shared apartment life as a “living room.” We’ve already had a few jam sessions there, and we regularly host game nights, movie nights, and pizza nights. In addition to the screen mentioned earlier, we also have a pizza oven.
This listing is not for a functional shared apartment. We’d like the new resident to get involved in our shared living experience.
With so many residents, a cleaning schedule is, of course, unavoidable. We manage this via an app, and every roommate gets a turn on a regular rotation to live out their wildest cleaning fantasies.
It’s also worth mentioning that nearly all of the roommates are members of an academic sports fraternity, which is reflected almost exclusively in our effort to work out together once a week. We have a different activity on the schedule each week, which is decided democratically. Bouldering and beach volleyball are among our favorites ;)
