tolles Haus im Norden Kölns

My husband and I are going to travel for 5 weeks with our 8 month old son. In the meantime our house is free to rent.

Our house was renovated on a very high standard in 2010. The whole house offers 200m2 and has 3 floors. The ground floor accommodates the kitchen area and the living room in one big room. There is also a guest restroom and two chambers to store some stuff you might need in your daily routine. The kitchen is fully equipped since we like to cook and bake. We have a big refrigerator that offers constant cooled water and an ice crusher that supplies ice whenever you want. The downstairs area is the heart of the house where live takes place. There are big windows in the living room with doors to open onto our terrace. We have a little vegetable garden and an area to sit comfortably with the family to have meals outside. We have a barbecue outside, a table and chairs and a an umbrella in case the sun bothers you too much. The main entrance door opposite the terrace doors leads into an inner courtyards that is equipped with a sand box, a children’s slide, a trampoline and some toys for kids to play with. There is also a storage room for bikes. The inner courtyard is free from cars or any traffic and therefore a very safe place to play for kids. The best part about this courtyard is that parents can get things done in the kitchen and still keep an eye on there kids playing in the courtyard. Within this yard live other families too but each family has their separate entrance and section of the old farm area.
The bedrooms and main bathrooms are located on the first and second floor of the house. The first floor offers a very lard master bedroom, a bathroom with shower and a bathtub. There is also a washing machine and a dryer. Furthermore, there is a children's room equipped with a child`s bed, a baby changing table, a rocking chair and a cupboard. The smallest room on this floor accommodates our office.
On the second floor under the roof are two very nice bedrooms that a very bright due to the skylights. One room has a double bed and the other a sleeping sofa (double bed). There is another bathroom with a shower on this floor too. If you need another children’s bed we have a children’s travel bed with we could also set up in any room.
The whole house has underfloor heating which is quite comfortable. Downstairs are tiles and carpets and parquet floor in the rest of the house.
