The room is part of a shared floor in a dorm. You will have your own room, which is fully furnished, and share kitchens and bathrooms.
You will have a wardrobe, desk and chair, shelf, a single bed and a sink in your room. The room is not giant but big enough to have friends over.
In the kitchens, everybody has their own storage shelves and spaces in the fridge and freezer. We have basically everything you would need for cooking so you don't need to bring anything.

The dorm is very central in Aachen, it's 5-10 minutes walking distance from the town centre and the university. The closest bus stop is directly infront of the building, and a lot of busses stop here so you can get most places very easily.
There are at least 2 supermarkets and 2 drug stores within 5 minutes walking distance, the main food and bar street (Pontstraße) is right around the corner, very convenient for going out.

Everyone living here is a student at a university in Aachen. We are from a lot of different countries, so we mostly speak English when multiple people are around.
We really like hanging out together. Usually you would meet people in the kitchen when cooking or some people just come there to talk. Sometimes we organise events, to cook together or play games or whatever people feel like doing.
The dorm has a lot of common spaces that you are welcome to use. There is a bar, a media room, a gym, and a study room. We also have a garden with a barbeque area where people like to hang out especially when it gets warmer.
