A wonderful first occupant has already moved into her room. Jildou is 26 years old and works as a research assistant at RWTH in the political science study sector. She loves a neat and tidy home, loves to cook, travel and also enjoys watching series on Netflix. She has experience in different constellations in national and international living communities at home and abroad. She knows what is important to create and maintain a good living community in the long term.
Requirement for the new flatmate fluently English. German language skills would be an advantage, but not essential. Minimum age 25 years. Professional requirements: preferably prospective doctoral student or research assistant at RWTH Aachen or similar position. Young professionals!
The owners of the building are architects and designers and have just finished renovating and partially refurbishing this flat. The trendy prevailing clean and pure white look completes the old building charm.
The unique spacious flat with high ceilings and large windows has a total living area of 82m2.
You have your own large room. Sleeping/study.For shared use there are: large living room, kitchen, spacious hallway, large daylight bathroom with large windows and separate toilet room.
Included in the rent is the new freshly installed fitted kitchen and includes built-in cupboards, worktop with sink, large hob, oven, extractor fan and dishwasher. A washer-dryer has just been installed and can be used by you by arrangement with a distance payment. Costs for internet and electricity are, as usual, not included in the rent and will be settled directly with the provider.
A small furniture package can be purchased as basic furnishing for your room and includes a 140x200m bed frame, slatted frame, mattress with protector and a chest of drawers. Great floor length curtains give the room a statement and class.

An Ikea basic furniture package has already been set up in Jildous, as well as in your bedroom/study. Prices can be viewed at ikea.de and home.24.de. Included are the delivery and assembly costs. You will receive further information during the viewing.
When you move out, the furniture package can be passed on to a new tenant by paying a deposit.
The beautiful high-quality curtains in your bedroom/study were made to measure. These belong to the apartment and are therefore included in the rent.
The antique chandelier and another basic furnishings throughout the apartment were provided by the landlady and are included in the rent. This measure saves you a lot of time and investment! Likewise, the new high-quality fitted kitchen, it is a gem and included in the rental price.
