Sarah, looking for a place with nice roommates to start my German adventure

Hi, I'm Sarah, I'm moving to Germany in January and looking for a place to live. A shared place is preferred, as I love meeting new people.
I have been living in the UK for more than 4 years but decided to move to Germany to start a new adventure! I just signed a contract (full-time permanent as a software engineer) with a company in Friedrichsdorf, starting the 20th January. So I need to find a place by then! Somewhere in Bad Homburg, Oberursel, Friedrichsdorf would be great so I could cycle to work. I'm happy to start renting a bit earlier (1st Jan for ex).
More about me: I'm 27, I like doing sport (running, cycling, swimming, basketball...), watching films, playing board games, programming. I shared a flat with 3 people in Grenoble during my studies then moved to London and shared a house with 5 people. I have lived with both women and men, French, German, English, Scottish, Spanish, from 21 to 47 years old!
I speak English, French and a bit of German (but I'm terrible at understanding it!). I'm hoping to get fluent in German.
Also I'm vegetarian, I don't smoke, no pet and I'm lazy when it comes to cooking (so don't hope much from me as a flatmate xD).
