Hey! I am Miriam and I am looking for a nice and chill human to take over the my flatmate's part of the contract! I work in a Tech company and I'm looking for someone from open minded, working in a start-up or a young and stimulating environment in general.
What's important in our WG / who I am looking for:
- 25 to 30 years old
- absolutely NO COUPLES!
- Friends are always welcome: this is not a 'party animals' apartment but we are social and we have dinners with friends during the week very spontaneously! Would be really necessary for you to enjoy this aspect of life and of course feel free to join whenever you want (but not mandatory of course).
- This is a smoking flat so you shouldn't be bothered by this
- Cleanliness and tidiness are very important but we are not excessively fussy about it
- your gross salary should be in between 35 and 40k (as you'll need to sign the contract directly with the real estate company, financial stability is key - not my rules!)
- the deposit for the place is 1,761 euros
- as we bought the furniture of the flat together with everything that's needed (i.e. washing machine, vacuum cleaner, 65 inches smart TV and sound bar, sofabed, balcony furniture, pans, cutlery, etc.) we are available to rent the room out only to someone willing to buy my flatmate's half of the furniture for 1,500 euros (we can settle through installments if necessary)
- it is very important that you have all the necessary documents: SCHUFA (jetzt beantragen) , last 3 payslips, employment contract, Mietschuldenfreiheitsbescheinigung (nice to have but not mandatory). We also want to point out that to go on with the move-in we will need the green light from the real estate company.
-Anmeldung is REQUIRED from the real estate company! Quite a gem in Berlin, don't you think? :)

The entire flat is 86sqm big, it has a wooden floor (floor heating system) and an amazing lighting system (adjustable LED). The apartment is made of one big main room with the kitchen are on one side, the dining room on the other and lounge are on the third side. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms, 1 pantry room, and a big balcony!
The common area consists of a huge living room with a big sofa bed (friends are welcome to stay if they need), a brand new 65 inches Smart TV + Samsung sound bar system and a big table with a 6-8 seating capacity - easily even more!!The kitchen area has everything you need (oven, dishwasher, big fridge and freezer, toaster, kettle, loads of cutlery, pans, knives, plates and a lot of jars we like using as glasses ;).
The flat has a cozy balcony facing the green silent courtyard of the complex, where you can enjoy the sun lying on the nice couch (south-west exposition so sunny all day when the sun is out eheh), having a beer or a glass or wine. In summer we also had dinners on the balcony, it is a very nice atmosphere!!
The flat has also two small rooms used for storage: one as a pantry and the other more as a proper storage room for house appliances (i.e. vacuum cleaner). It also comes with a big cellar in the basement and a bicycle room.
The bedroom is ~12sqm big and has a floor-to-ceiling window also facing the courtyard of the complex. It includes a queen-sized bed with drawers underneath, an additional practical chest of drawers. You will have your private bathroom (master bathroom), coming with a bathtub / shower and plenty of storage space.
The neighborhood is residential and pretty safe, but it allows to be only 7-8 minutes from one of the most vibrant areas in Berlin. The apartment is located about 3-4 minutes walking from Modersohnbrücke, which is not too bad when you're a sunset lover!
On the same street of the flat, there is a very convenient Spaeti/Post Office/Printing facility that is open every day (even on Sunday). There also several restaurants and nice bars on the way to Warschauerstrasse (5-8mins walking distance) and the cool Boxaghener Platz is very close as well (15mins by foot). Ostkreuz and its nice food/drinking scene is also of course just around the corner.
There is a Netto supermarket in the same complex of the flat, while Lidl is just 5mins away. There are also a Rewe 10mins away and a huge Kaufland in Victoria Center (approx. 15mins away).
The area is very well connected in terms of transportation. Ostkreuz station is just 900m away (10mins walking distance), Treptower S-Bahn station is 950m away (12 mins). There are also several buses stopping by in the area such as 347, 194 (all within 5mins max walking distance), 104, 166 (within 10mins walking distance). U1/U3 in Warschauerstrasse is just 15mins on foot away. You can reach the new Brandenburg/Schoenefeld airport in just 15mins from Ostkreuz with regional trains.
My name is Miriam, I am Italian and I'm 24 years old. I moved to Berlin 10 months ago to start working in a tech company as assistant buyer. I am a huge foodie and always enjoy a nice dinner both at home and in a nice restaurant, the point here is: FOOD IS LIFE, FOOD IS LOVE!! I also really enjoy some beer or wine from time to time! :) I have lived in 7 countries overall, and really love traveling!
I am definitely looking for someone chill and relaxed, not too fussy about things in general or rules, although I also believe mutual respect and clear communication are the starting point for everything! Someone who enjoys talking and having dinners from time to time is welcome!!
one important aspect of this flat is the love for plants, please be prepared to share your living space with a few green babies!! I won't expect you to love them as much as I do, but if you could give them some water from time to time when I am not there, then it would be really great!!
