Would you like to spend a month or two in Berlin this summer living in what's been dubbed 'Europe's Last Grand Boulevard' - a stone's throw from the eclectic cultural mix that is Frierichshain and a short ride with a bike or public transport to all of Berlin's most interesting sites and 'must see' locations?
If the answer is yes... then the room we are letting in our apartment from 01-31 August may be just what you are looking for. ** (we may be able to consider longer let up to either late september or 12 months til 2016) **
The accomodation comprises a spacious furnished room in a stunning 2 roomed apartment in Heritage listed building in Karl Marx Allee, Friedrichshain - a short walk to Simon-Dach-Str, Boxhagener Platz, Samariter-'kiez'.
The room is elegantly furnished with a very comfortable bed, a beautiful chippendale furniture suite comprising sofa, coffee table and armchair, desk and chair, and a walnut veneer wardrobe.
The room is quiet with a pleasant garden outlook near Kino Kosmos., three big double windows (with drapes/curtains), 4m high ceiling and parquet floor.
The shared areas of the apartment comprise a recently renovated eat-in kitchen with fridge, cooker/stove and washing machine and newly tiled bathroom with bathub. The apartment is clean and tidy.
We have super fast VDSL broadband internet 50mbps and phone with flatrate to Euro/US/Australian landlines included.
There are good car parking options in immediate proximity and a safe bicycle storage room. Close to shops and a short walk to all public transport U-Bahn, S-Bahn, trams and buses at Frankfurter Tor and Weberwiese U-Bahn (U5).
5 mins to Alexanderplatz (U5)
short U-Bahn ride to Humboldt University, Unter den Linden, Govt quarter and the Brandenburger Tor, short tram ride (M10) to Kreuzberg and Prenzlauer Berg.
We are looking for a responsible and friendly person who wants to enjoy the summer vibe in Berlin and the cultural diversity the city has to offer. However, please note this is NOT a party flat.
We ask for at least 1 reference and a refundable deposit which will be returned to you on departure from the apartment leaving everything in good order. Check in and Check out inspections will be conducted together in person with handover of keys.
