Dear lovely people,
In the period of 05.12.20-23.01.21 our flatmate Juan will be gone and we’re looking for a person over 24 who would want to share this lovely 3-person flatshare with us.
The room has 15sqm, is fully furnished with a desk, a DIY couch, big bed, flat-screen TV with Chromecast and a closet. It will be 525€ for the whole period. This price includes everything, namely electricity, gas, warm water and heating, telephone and internet, as well as a fee for German TV/radio and an insurance.
Our flatshare has a completely furnished kitchen with a dish washer, a bathroom with a tub and a washing machine, and a huge corridor which we’re transforming into a living/reading room, little by little. Also, there’s a separate toilet, a small storage room and a cellar.
Smoking is allowed in the kitchen - as long as no-one is cooking/eating.
So, now it’s your turn to introduce yourself to us. Here’s a selection of things that we would be interested in knowing about you ☺
- Where are you from, what are you doing in Berlin, why do you want to live in Kreuzberg-Neukölln, what are your interests and what your worries?
- Do you already have some experience in sharing a flat with others and what is important to you in living with others?
- Are you willing to communicate about different needs and able to adapt a bit if need be?
- What’s your stance on the current restrictions regarding Corona?
- What do you dislike about our current society’s gender order?
If you’re interested or know someone that might be, please write to us - we cannot wait to get to know you!
Carl* and Nica
The flat is 5min away from Kottbusser Tor and surrounded by shops, bars and the trees along the Landwehrkanal. Graefestraße and a street market are just across the street. By foot, one can reach Oranienstraße in 5min and the subway station Kottbusser Tor. The lines U1 and U8 that run there take one to all parts of the city very quickly.
At the moment WE are Carl* (37, social sciences, German) and Nica (28, Circus & burlesque performances, Canadian).
Our flatshare is a respectful and accepting place. It is important to us to not only share the rent but also experiences, household duties and now and then an evening together. We like to have trust and empathy for each other – but also, we give each other the space and quiet we need, especially now that we’re all home a lot.
You should be respectful of our queer identities and lifestyles. At the moment we are all white, but people of color are very welcome to reply. We mostly speak English in the flat, but French would also be possible as a common language.
p.s. There will be time to get to know each other in person 22nd/23rd Nov.
Since this is a sub-sub-let we cannot offer an Anmeldung, unfortunately.
