Your bedroom has a large bed (160x200cm). It's quite comfy, and the mattress is pretty hard.
In the room you will also find a wardrobe, a shelf, a desk, a bedside table and a couch. Everything is made of wood (except for the couch, of course!)
Three large windows cover the largest wall side to side, letting a lot of light through and making this room unusually bright and sunny for Berlin's standards.
The flat is on the 4th floor of a big building served by two elevators. It has two beautiful bathrooms, a large living room and an open kitchen facing a balcony.
This place used to be two independent flats, that have been completely renovated a couple of months ago, during the summer, and joined together in a single huge apartment. It's quite nicer than the usual WG.
The apartment is on the border between Kreuzberg and Mitte. It's very well served by public transports, and lots of services can be found anywhere in the area: restaurants, bars, pharmacies, supermarkets, shops of any kind...
Close to the apartment there are lots of public areas (small parks and playgrounds), with nice fountains and rabbits and squirrels. The area is also very clean, safe and well kept.
Currently Aleeza from Canada, Jeremy from London, Nicola from Italy and me from Italy live in this place.
We all work and are looking for one person who's working and who is clean. We don't have an intense WG life, but are of course friends and helpful with each other and sometimes we share dinners or watch a movie together on the projector.
We're looking for somebody with a similar lifestyle.
During the summer we hosted many short-term guests in this room, but now we decided to get somebody long term from November. Some guests will probably be using the room when you visit.
If you are interested in the room send me an email and we'll invite you over to see the place and meet the current roommates.
To save time both for us and for you, we usually don't reply to the people we cannot meet, unless explicitly requested in your email. Apart from that, we always inform everybody about any news immediately.
We try to meet one person per day (sometimes 2, but avoiding collisions). After your visit (usually the day after) we'll let you know whether you can move in. From that point you can come sign the contract and pay the deposit. Only when somebody does that we tell all the other candidates that the room is gone.
