13m² sublease January & February in large shared flat (possibly long-term)

The flat’s located right in the Wedding, which we all have become quite fond of. There’s no lack of night life nearby, whether you want to go to a bar, smaller clubs, restaurants or Cafés - it's all there in walking distance. Also in walking distance are a few grocery shops (Lidl right across, Penny 50m down the street), and if you need anything else, you can be sure to find it on Müllerstraße, roughly 5 min away on foot.

There’s also a variety of public transport available: The closest station (2–3 min) is Nauener Platz (U9, which is just one stop away from U8 at Osloer Straße) and in a few minutes you’ll be at Wedding (circle line and U6) and at stops for a couple of different bus lines, one right in front of our door (247).

For when it’s warmer, there’s a few parks nearby as well, which you can easily get to on foot (Humboldthain, Schillerpark) or by bike (Volkspark Rehberge including the wonderful lake Plötzensee, Mauerpark).

We are a very harmonious flat share of nine people, which was founded in October 2011, and whose various inhabitants so far have made a lot of memories together, whether it’s going out for a drink or cooking, chilling in the park or swimming in the lake; we’re looking forward to having even more fun with you. Of course, we’ll leave you alone whenever you want to; but it would be preferable if that’s not constantly the case. It would be great if you really want to live in a large WG and it's your plan to stay long-term (things can change, we know, but we'd prefer that you don't already know you want to leave after six months). We buy food separately but often share. We also have a cleaning schedule and monhtly plenums to discuss flat issues.

You'll be living with:

Max, who used to study mathematics, switched to medicine after his bachelor, and is currently half-time student and half-time working as a researcher. When he's not studying, he's probably working on his new crazy DIY project, like building his bike. He likes jazz and red wine.



Mateo is one of the creative minds of the WG. A photographer and visual artist, he's always out with some project or another, otherwise you'll find him at home with a bar of milk chocolate or cookies in hand.


Maren just moved to Berlin for an biomedical internship in a research lab on cancer and placenta tissues. She plans to stay in Berlin to work in that field afterwards, but is in the flat only until March (then Francisco, who usually lives there, returns from his home visit in Argentina).

Roxie studies mathematics and is very involved in her handball club. As a result, she is often to be found highly motivated in the gym or fitness studio (as long as she is not out of action due to a torn cruciate ligament).

Michele is just finishing his Masters in Political Science / Sociology (just handed in this thesis a few weeks ago!). Just as recently, he has discovered his passion for making documentaries. On the side, he's also working as a barkeeper in Neukölln.

Joseph has stayed in the WG after a random interim rental. He, too, is often away for work, but can sometimes be found in the kitchen entertaining visitors with elaborate dishes and fragrant tea.


Lucie ist häufig spät dran und spielt leidenschaftlich Basketball. Außerdem geht sie gerne tanzen, auf linke Veranstaltungen und studiert nebenbei Spanisch und Geographie im Master.
