Our commune is in the northern reaches of the „Viertel“. (Or at least we want it to be that – actually it might be also already part of Schwachhausen or the Gete, but nobody knows that exactly.) The Straßburger Street adjoins the St. Jürgen Street and starts exactly behind the traintracks. Near the house, there is also a little park with a ping-pong table wich we use exessively if the weather allows it.
The tram- and bus lines 1, 4, 25 and 24 are about 3 to 5 minutes away by feet. In 8 to 10 minutes you can reach also the lines 2, 3, 10, 8 and 6.
There are some supermarkets near by: in 5 minutes you can reach a Netto and in about 10 minutes you can walk to a Rewe. Moreover there is a „mini-market“, a bakery, a bio-market and some flower-shops, a pharmacy and a bookstore to reach by feet. The hospitals „Bremen Mitte“ and „St. Joseph Stift“ are also pretty near by.

Your new roommates will be Marli, Lea, Noah, Cord, Luc (and Alena and Godje will come back in summer).
7 people, that can sound a lot at first and possibly stressful, but the opposite is more the case. We all do our thing in a very relaxed way, of course we have our own needs, but we also attach importance to living together. The size of the house offers on the one hand the possibility to withdraw completely, on the other hand the large kitchen in the basement, the living room, the terrace and the garden also invites to spend time together.
As a flat-sharing community we often cook together, hang out in the kitchen (kitchen parties!!), go on trips (to the sea!!) or, if Corona allows it, go out together (to pubs or other places!!). We want to live together in solidarity and also take care of each other. At the moment we have a weekly short WG plenum. Furthermore we share most of our food. We are currently still working on the form and nature of the cleaning schedule, but we try to keep everything clean.
A few words about your future flatmates:
Marli (no pronoun) is studying Gender Studies and Social Sciences in Oldenburg and is going on an internship in Bremen this summer. Marli likes to cook a lot, enjoys being in the countryside and appreciates living together in a community. Also always up for WG excursions!
Noah (he/him)
Hey, I'm Noah, I just moved to Bremen in October to study digital media. I like to go to pubs, chat and discuss. In summer often out and about in the green or at campsites and festivals. I like to do things with people from the WG and I like living together.
Lea (she/you)
Cord (she/you) moved to Bremen together with Kofi in October and started her Master Transcultural Studies at the university. Cord is always happy to have company on her walk with Kofi or an outing together. Otherwise, Cord is still working as an occupational therapist besides her studies. Cord is currently looking for a flat share and will probably move out in the next few months.
Luc (He/Him) is doing an apprenticeship at the hospital, works in shifts and regularly enriches the apartment with the smell of freshly delivered food. Luc also wants to move out in the next few months.
Alena (she/you, won't be back until summer) has just finished her bachelor's degree in political science, communication and media studies, likes to fill the house with beautiful singing, is constantly working on some new art project and is (almost) always available for a round of Mario Kart.
Godje (she/you, won't be back until summer) is studying cultural studies, cooks a lot and delicious food, is co-owner of a plot of land, likes to go camping, enjoys her coffee on the terrace and actually always prefers to be outside than inside.
At first glance it looks very busy and in the next few months there will also be a few more changes, because in addition to the room will be vacant and also people live for interim rent. We all get along mega well, yet individual living situations lead a few of us elsewhere. We are therefore also looking forward to new people who have a desire to live together. You would also have the opportunity to help shape the new composition.
If our ad appeals to you, feel free to contact us, and then we'll see together that we find a date where we can get to know each other. See you then :)
P.S. We are all vaccinated and wish that you are too :)
Furthermore we don't like fascists, queer-hostile people, anti-Semitism and other reactionary shit.
