Nice, smart guy from California looking to brighten things up!

Dear Future Flatmates,

My name is Andrew. I am pretty desperate to find a place to move into on the 1st of November, 2015. I chose to move out of my one room apartment because I would like live with a group of people, guys and girls, who value creativity, nature, recreation, health, and humor.
I am a creative spirit that loves human interaction. Some people think I am the “hippiest” person they have ever met; but on the street, I look absolutely normal. The “hippiest” thing about me is that I am from the northern mountains of California and my parents were once wannabe hippies for a few months during the early 70s. Otherwise, I play harmonica (Mundharmonika), write poetry, philosophize, play chess, make things out of wood and trash, and make gluten free food (it’s easy & I have nothing against people eating pizza, etc., in front of me).
I have been teaching English to adults and teens in Düsseldorf since June. As an English teacher, I am practically a student. I am always reading and studying grammar points, preparing for courses, and correcting papers. I love it. I like it so much that I will help you in my spare time. Who wouldn’t want free English Nachhilfe or a free thesis editor?
I am a very empathetic person. I do not want to live with people who treat themselves and others with disrespect and reckless arrogance. I would like to live with people who value themselves and others humbly. I am not religious, but there is no problem if you are or are not. I drink alcohol, eat meat, smoke occasionally and tolerate most habits except derogatory behavior toward women. That really makes me tick.
I am a diplomat. The few people I’ve lived with around Germany have all really liked my presence and enjoyed our time together cooking, playing games, etc. I am really looking to save money, so staying in and making our own party is more of my idea of a good time. But going out on the town every now and then is also not such a bad idea.

Oh, I’m 24 and I know German pretty well and I ride my shitty ass bike everywhere. I would love the house to have a garden, or at least some natural features around it or on the same property. I miss the mountains and forests of California and Oregon. But if you don't have a garden or balcony or terrace, please, still contact me anyway.
