Your future room has a floor space of 10,3 m^2 plus a high-level with a bed (see pictures). On the higher level is a 1.40m bed. Up there, the hight to from the floor to the ceiling is approx. 1.30m.
The room faces south and has a big balcony in front, so you will always have a lot of light and direct access to the balcony.
The apartment has a large living room, a spacious kitchen, a storage room, a bathroom with bathtub/shower, a small toilet in the hallway and two balconies. In addition, the apartment has a separate basement room.
Our large south-facing balcony is perfect for sunbathing and hanging out (can be reached by climbing out your window or through Mareike's room).
On the other balcony you can watch the hustle and bustle of the city from a relaxed distance (can be reached from the living room).
Das Apartment befindet sich im Herzen des Stadtzentrums von Göttingen. Die Wendenstraße ist die Erweiterung der Rote Straße und ist daher sehr zentral (3 Minuten zu Fuß zu allen öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln oder zum Gänseliesel). Obwohl wir in der Nähe von Willi leben, ist es weit genug, nicht von Parteimitgliedern gestört zu werden, wenn Sie schlafen wollen. Das Haus hat 3 Stockwerke, mit insgesamt 3 WGs.
The apartment is located in the heart of Göttingen's city center. The Wendenstraße is the extension of the Rote Straße and is therefore very central (3 minutes walk to all public transport or to the Gänseliesel). Although, we live close to Willi it is far enough not to be disturbed by partypeople, if you want to sleep. The house has 3-stories, with a total of 3 WGs.
Our WG consists of the following living beings: Mareike (29) plant and garden whisperer, intermediate but enthusiastic climber and part time raver and Noémie (26) nerd, documentary specialist and fluent in vines and sarcasm, as well as Paul (25) the barista, boulderer and burgeria-fan, and Anna Lena (28) professional swimmer, wanna be Korean chef and karaoke star, who will leave us to live in Italy for 3 months.
So far our shared flatlife has been relaxed and versatile. All of us work during the day so we mostly do something together in the evenings or on weekends (we are experts in homemade sunday brunch!). We have a projector, dartboard and other games (maybe you'd like to start a new series or game?). Outside of our shared flat we also like to play various sports or go to the cinema or theater.
We like the idea of cooking together (mostly vegeterian/vegan), but sometimes our schedules get the best of us, and have some drinks to get ready for a party or two. We prefer to go party outside the flat, so don't expect a party-WG. On the other hand, at times, we just want to order something and lay on the couch or balcony with some chill music and good talks.
Of course there is no pressure to always join. We also like to do things individually and sometimes chill in our room.
Generally it would be nice if you are interested in participating in flat life and we value good communication.
Apart from that, we can definitely get excited about new activities and are curious of what you are doing. :)
Sexism, fascism, racism and other discriminatory behavior have no place in our flat.
The total rent including GEZ, internet etc, is 440€. There might be some changes due to utilites, but that should be figured out very soon. The room will be available on 01.03.26 till the 30.05. 2026. We can discuss exact dates, however, a long-term stay will not be possible, as I will come back from Italy latest end of June.

I will leave my furniture including mattress, it is just not clear yet if I take my pillow/blanket.
