We have a room fully furnished (14 sqm) with private bathroom and shared kitchen. The house is surrounded by a huge garden with old trees. Room is located at Wiesenbach, a suburb east of Heidelberg with excellent public transport. We are a nice and easy going international community in a center for sustainable development with today 10 people from all over the world. Contract is possible for 1-6 month, but you can stay longer, if needed.
Our non smokers, climate friendly and energy efficient (!) house has 7 apartments each with 1-3 rooms. It is newly renovated with solar heating and beautyful huge garden. Excellent air quality, much better than in Heidelberg Center. We have fast Internet with direct access from your room, WiFi, 2 laundry machines and 5 bicycles for common use. Bus stops nearly in front of our main door. From here to Heidelberg Bismarckplatz or Mainstation it is a 30-40 minute ride by bus and/or city train (S-Bahn). Next train station with bicycle it is only 10 minutes away and from there it takes 1/2 hour to Mannheim and 15 minutes to Heidelberg. 2 supermarkets, turkish deli, city hall, medical doctors, dentist, hair dressers, pharmacy, art gallery, horse riding and sports grounds are in short walking distance. There is even a golf course, a public outdoor pool and a tennis indoor and outdoor court nearby. We help you with used bicycle, foreign office, jobs and legal affairs. We are in the old village center of Wiesenbach, a suburb with good bus conncetion to Heidelberg. Busstop is only 50 m away from our main door. We have a huge garden with beautyful old cherry and apple trees.
We are from 18 up to 35 years old international community. There are some of us who like to cook and eat together, and others who want to be for themselves. Everything is possible. Everything is accepted. We love people making music. We have a piano and a dance hall, we can use, if there is no seminar inside. We also run our own public Café where we enjoy many produce for 1/2 price.
Our house belongs to a future orientated international center for sustainable development. We have solar heating, high energy efficient builing without chemicals.
