Hey guys,
I am looking for someone to take over my room in our cozy apartment.
The room will be available from the 15th of August, but it would be okay if you want to move in on the 1st of September, too.
I would like to leave the furniture there, so the room would be equipped with a wooden bed (no mattress), side table for the bed, a huge closet, a desk, a comfortable desk chair, a book shelf and a little storage rack. If you wouldn’t be willing to move into a furnished room, I’m open to discussion wether I should sell the furniture beforehand in order for you to move into an empty room. Moreover, the room is always flooded with day light and the window faces south.
The rent is 360€ per month, all bills included (electricity, wifi).
The apartment is quite spacious. Apart from two other bed rooms, where your room mates would be sleeping in, it consists of a brand new kitchen (built in in January with a huge fridge and a dish washer), a living/dining room, a little storage room, a bathroom (with shower and bathtub), a separate toilet and a balcony.
The apartment is located right underneath the train station in Jena west. It takes 3 minutes to walk to the train and bus station. Several grocery stores are within walking distance (Edeka, Tegut, Aldi), as are the city center (10min walk, 3min by bike) and the park.
There are a lot of families and students living in the area and it’s mostly quiet.
Since I’m moving out you would be living together with Jan (pharmacy student, 21) and Mariano (supply chain management student, 23). Jan just moved in, but he is a chilled person. Mariano is from Ecuador and probably the funniest and nicest room mate you could wish for. He is moving back into the apartment in October since he is still on his internship in Hamburg.
Their both really fun to hang out with and are definitely up for a beer on the weekend. In their free time they like to hang out with friends or do sports.
The spacious living room is great to have friends over, but we would always respect each other’s privacy and check beforehand if it’s okay with everyone else.
The kitchen is perfect for little cooking events, we used to that all the time as well.
If you are interested in the room don’t hesitate to contact us. The number I’ve put down here is Mariano’s number. You can come by in person or we can just meet up via FaceTime, Skype, Zoom or Teams, whatever you prefer.
Best regards,
Annabel
