* PRICE: The current price as shown here is for a 6 week stay. Price varies depending on the duration of your stay. The minimum duration is 2 weeks. Just let me know what your preferred dates are so I can let you know the price for this particular time frame.
* Room includes all furniture: 140x200cm bed, Work Desk, chair and big wardrobe. The room is bigger in reality than it looks like on the images.
* Are the costs for Internet included? Yes, high speed internet at no extra costs

*** What are the next steps? What do I need from you before you move in? ***

1) If the apartment is listed its available, so please dont message me with asking if its available, rather provide some details on what takes you to Munich, a little bit about you as in your profession, your hobbies and maybe what makes you a good flat mate. Of course also send me any questions that my description does not answer to your satisfaction.
2) If we both think this could be a fit I am happy to have a video call so we can get to know each other a bit. There is not virtual life tour possible right now, but i can send you a pre-recorded video of your room and the common areas that I recorded last time i prepared the apartment for a new flat mate.
3) If it is a "Yes" from both sides you can reserve the room via an upfront (non-refundable) reservation fee of 200 Euro within 2 days after our interview. This seems necessary as unfortunately these days a lot of people are unable to commit if there is no pressure to do so ;)
4) Also within 2 days after our interview I will need to see either Proof of your financial situation (SCHUFA (jetzt beantragen) Auskunft / employment contract) or you simply pay everything upfront as well as a Copy of your passport and Proof of you having a personal liability insurance / Haftpflichtversicherung (if you don't have one yet let me know I can provide recommendations for inexpensive insurance options around 25€ per month)
5) 10 Days prior to move in date: Payment of 50% of the total rent
6) On move in date: Payment in cash of the second part of your rent & the security deposit/Kaution

You will be living in the same flat as Cathy- yes that's me ;)
I am 35 years old, born in Munich, but lived abroad in the U.S., Iceland, Australia and Spain for more than 2 years during my studies in Business and Management. I am back in Munich now since a few years to be closer to my family and am working in a startup as Marketing Manager.
I am super passionate about:
- my profession and the startup spirit (I really like what I am doing). Hence I also spend my free time reading up on Marketing or business topics e.g. books I like: The Lean Startup, 4 hour work week, From Good to Great, etc.
- self development and self care. I read up on psychology topics to become a better version of myself (some may say becoming your true self without all your weird learned behaviors from your childhood), I (at least try to) meditate on a regular basis (10 minutes daily), I do yoga every morning and I am absolutely into cold showers (aka Wimhof the Iceman)
- hiking, running, skiing. I love the mountains (although beach and sea is also great) and try to go hiking 1-2 times each month. In Winter I go skiing.

Of course I don't expect you to be into the same things! However I would love to know 1) what you are passionate about in your life? 2) What do you enjoy doing on a regular basis? 3) How does your typical weeday and weekend look like? Tell me a little bit about yourself

FAQs:
1) Can I have guests? For short term rental (< 3 months) guests are not allowed. Hence if you love inviting people over I totally understand but then this flat is just not for you as I prefer to keep this flat rather a calm place to relax and wind down after a long workday. Hence perfect for those among us who are looking for a flat that ensures a good night's rest.

2) Is there enough space for me in kitchen and bathroom to keep my stuff ? Sure there will be enough space also in the shared spaces for you to keep stuff such as groceries or your toiletries

3) How do we share household chores? In general we make sure to leave the kitchen clean after cooking and wipe the shower dry after use , measures to make sure we don't have to clean big time too frequently. For stays of only 1 or 2 months you don't need to do any additional household chores other than daily routines to leave the kitchen and bathroom clean after use.

Note regarding "Sonstige Kosten": This is the rent for the furniture which is included in the apartment (not only in your room but for instance also consider that the kitchen is very modern with LED lights and brand household appliances from "Siemens" and the bathroom is newly renovated as well)
