I will have to leave my lovely home at the end of the month. As we have already found a new flatmate from October on, we are looking for someone who needs a room for just one month.
The room is small and has a funny shape, as one edge tapers. It has huge windows and goes out to the south-west. So it is very bright (and in the summer get's very warm). If you don't want that much sunlight you just have to let down the blinds. If you don't need vast space it's a great cozy room!
I gladly leave a bedstead without mattress (90cm) but a lot of storage underneath and a wardrobe, white and nice.
Besides that, we all spend a lot of time in our cozy kitchen. Here you can have big dinner parties but also a nap in the corner booth.
Last but not least we have a small but also comfy living/tv room. Some of our flat mates are big movie lovers so we already had quite a few film nights in there.
The location of the flat is more than good. In 5 min by foot you’re at the Steinlach, in 10 min by foot you’re at the Hauptbahnhof, in 10 min by bike you’re in town – need more advantages? ;)
Our WG-motto would probably be: Everything is possible, nothing is mandatory! Who wants to live a WG family life can do that, who wants to be footloose can also find her*his privacy here.
Besides a well working cleaning system (we have areas of responsibility rather than a weekly rotating plan) there are almost no other obligations. Right now everyone has their own shelf in the fridge, but that can be changed just as people wish. It is possible to join the weekly Solawi vegetable box (we joined the Community Supported Agriculture here in Tübingen).
We are generally open to visitors. Sometimes there are not many people in the flat, sometimes there are. We just hosted a flea market/cloth swap/bike and cloth repair-event in our flat. We already went on a mini camping trip together, to concerts, to Berlin or hiking on the Alb. In summer we like to have barbeque at the Steinlach or go swimming in the Hirschauer See.
Who we are: Niko, 39, self-employed App-developer. Antonia, 25, B.Sc Biology and is currently studying for a geo-ecology Master's (currently Sonja is Antonia's subletter: 22, Physiotherapist and almost finished with her BA in Physiotherapy, enjoys climbing and slacklining). Beatriz, 27, from Spain, is working on her PhD in the field of molecular biology. Resi, 30, B.A. fashion designer, print designer, loves to discover world. Manu, 26, geo-ecology bachelor, loves to discuss. Coco, 22, student of medicine, loves bord sport. Hedi, 2.5 our professional mouser.
