Gemütliches Altbau- Zimmer in internationaler queer-feministischer FLINTA* - WG /Cozy Altbau- Zimmer in international queerfeminist FLINTA* shared- flat

Hey! :)
We are looking for a fourth roommate in our international shared-flat in the middle of the 8th district. We are looking for somebody rather long-term (>1 year), preferably FLINTA* :)
The flat is big and bright, with cozy common space for cooking, making art, inviting friends over, etc. We like to make use of our huge kitchen and living room!

The apartment is centrally located in a quiet district with all the essentials in the neighbourhood and good transit connections (Tram 33, 12, 5, 43, 44, U6, Bus 13A).

We are a tight knit flatshare who've grown quite close over the years, and are starting to feel like each other's chosen family. We now share a lot of our friends and spend most of our Fridays at Flinte together. We really enjoy having friends over, even friends who come to stay a few days and would also love it if you have visitors. At the moment our visitor is a friend's cat Ninja Kicia Bambam Pandapfötchen who has come to stay with us most likely for a few months. Cozy art nights and spontaneous weekend brunches are frequent, goofy creative parties are more scarce but when they happen they're unforgettable. Last year we hosted a shrek party where everyone dressed up- lots of facepaint, onions hanging from the doorframe, a large map of Shrek's swamp in the entryway... Then we held a medieval christmas party (which is why you can see a castle in our living room picture). Send us an idea for our next party!

About the room:

The room feels a lot bigger than 13sqm, it has a built-in loft bed which gives you the possibility to separate your sleeping area and the working/living area. It is partly furnished with a desk and some shelves that you can keep (only if you want :) Something to keep in mind - you enter your room through the kitchen and share a rather thin wall with Alix's room so mutual respect is appreciated!

About the rest of the flat:

We have a spacious kitchen and living room where we spend most of our time... where we work remotely, cook our kimchi noodle soup, craft collages from stolen posters, sew a new pair of paints, or build a flying drying rack on a pully system (it's not done yet). We've got 2 bathrooms and 2 toilets, so it never gets crowded in the morning.

About us:

All of us are currently in that in-between-stage from studying to working, and have varying schedules. Chichi and Alix are a couple who've been together for two years. Alix moved into the flat in June and they both have separate rooms. Don't worry - Tati is not the third wheel:)

Tati (26, she/they )
is finishing her architecture bachelor and just finished their seasonal construction job - They moved to Vienna from Germany 3 years ago to study and have decided to stay. They sometimes make their own clothes and furniture, will get back into climbing "very soon", and goes Lindy-hop dancing with Chichi and Alix. Recently, they got back into playing the clarinet and jamming with a friend.

Chichi (25, she /her)
is also an architecture student who is trying to discover further possibilities in the field. She takes care of her homesickness and expresses love for friends through regular dinner invitation. Most of her at-home time is spent painting, caring for her collection of plants and pickling vegetables. She is working on feminist community building projects at Flinte and looking for a job in the creative industry.

Alix (27, she/her)
is originally from California but moved to Austria to teach English in 2021 and never left. She is about to start her last semester of nursing at the FH. She's had an obsession with lindyhop ever since she moved to Vienna, convincing Chichi and Tati to join her, and starting a queer swing dance social event in Vienna. With the rest of her free time she organises events at Flinte and started learning mandarin.
