THIS APARTMENT WILL BE AVAILABLE FROM MAY 1ST 2024 ON (MAYBE ONE MONTH LATER).
The apartment is fully furnished. We renovated it in 2020, and will replace the roof windows, the couch, the tv and a few other things in May 2024. The apartment is colorful. The nicest part of this flat is still the light situation. Sunlight comes in from those roof windows in each and every room, bathroom included. What you will notice first, is its inviting sunny big kitchen, with bright yellow tiles and walls with real oak doors. There is a dishwasher included.
Like in the rest of the house, we painted a few walls in bright colors, not just the yellow kitchen, but also red walls in the living-room, and some blue/turquoise in the entrance hall. We hope you like it.
In the living-room, there is an antique cabinet from around 1880, another heavy wooden cabinet, a real Persian carpet and, as mentioned, there will be a high quality couch then, not the one you see on the pictures. Some of the furniture is of very high quality.
The apartment can nicely accommodate two people.
The rent includes heating, electricity, water and internet.
WE CHARGE EXTRA 70€ PER MONTH FOR THE SECOND PERSON.
We pay the deposit (or part of it) back the day that you move out, since we don't have to wait for the electricity bill.
We promise to reply to all emails, but can not guarantee to be reachable on phone all the time.
This apartment lies in three minutes walking distance from the main entrance of the central Duisburg train station, but in a calm street. The Kant-parc with its two museums is right at the corner and there is the DKM museum in the Güntherstraße as well.
The pedestrian shopping street and the Forum-mall are a five minutes walk away. Everything is very close by, even two highways are around the corner.
If you want to get an impression of the neighborhood, we recommend checking it on google streetview or come and take a stroll around the block, the museum and the nearby parc.
We are pretty experienced wg-gesucht and airbnb-hosts and have accomodated travelers and people who came to Duisburg for a few weeks or months over eight years now and rectently bought this property which we wish to offer to international guests staying for a limited period.
I speak German, French, English, Dutch and Spanish and my partner speaks English, Hindi and Marathi. So feel free to contact us in these languages.
