My name is Rodrigo Catalan (28) from Chile and I come with my wife (María José, 27) to live in Göttingen for 4 years. I've been given a Doctoral Research DAAD fellowship last year and as part of the fellowship benefits I've been attending an intensive german course since the end of November at the Goethe-Institut in Göttingen which also provides me with accommodation until the end of April. In April I officially started my PhD in Physics at the Max Planck Institute for Dynamics and Self-organization (MPIDS) under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Oliver Bäumchen and we'll have to leave my current accommodation to live somewhere else in the city. My wife is not currently in Germany but she arrives on 20.04, so we're looking for an apartment to rent hopefully around the city center.
