This mezzanine apartment served me very well during my studies in Freiberg.
Everything I needed is in walking distance, amazingly fresh air, and plenty of opportunities to stay in shape.
Since I am moving on to greater things, it is becoming available starting April 1st.
You can rent it for two months, and if you still like it, extend your contract for an unlimited time.
The apartment is located in an amazing little park community 15 minutes from the city center by walk.
Everything you will need is in walking distance - bus stop, grocery stores, fitness center, university, cinema, swimming pool, zoo, university sports complex, city forest.
Total rent for the place is 330€ per month and you will be required to make a deposit of 600€ (which you will get back, assuming you leave the place the way you found it). Move in date is flexible, meaning you can move in just before April 1st, or shortly after.
IMPORTANT: you will be able to register ("Anmeldung") under this address.
Additional information you may find interesting:
- the park has its own beach volleyball field
- the park has two excellent ping-pong tables
- laundromats are located 30 seconds from your apartment
- You can get WiFi for 15€ per month
- a brand new comfortable office chair
and a 3 month old mattress can be purchased from me for 90€
- my mountain-bike is also up for grabs (name a price)

- Closest university building is within a 10 minute walk
A bike is recommended, as it will reduce the time you spend walking to and from university, or wherever you need to go, significantly. It so happens that I sell my super solid bike (ask me for pictures if interested).
