Hallo!
My flat mate and I are leaving our lovely home and are looking for 2 people to take over our lease.
In the apartment there are two fully furnished rooms, each with a bed, desk, wardrobe, shelves and pallet couch. Room 1 has a 90cm bed, and Room 2 has a 140cm bed. The approximate size of each room is 20m2. The kitchen serves as a common room, where you can have a beer in the evenings. We've often hosted parties in our apartment without the neighbors complaining, although a few times they've joined in! The kitchen is also fully equipped: there is a dishwasher, a microwave, an oven, dishes, small appliances and many other useful kitchen utensils. The bathroom is spacious, with a shower and bathtub. The dryer and washing machine belong to the apartment. In addition to a small storage room in the apartment, there is also a large, separate cellar compartment and a covered bicycle parking space in the courtyard. The courtyard is secured by a locked gate. The entrance to the apartment is on a small balcony, so that you don't hear anything from the hallway, so it feels very private. Location: The apartment is on Rehmplatz, near Hansemannplatz. Here, for example, the bus lines 3A, 3B, 1 and many others leave, so that the main building of the RWTH can be reached in 6-10 minutes, the Carl in approx. 8 minutes and the Campus Melaten in approx. 15-20 minutes. If a bus line does not go from Hansemannplatz to your destination, the Aachen bus station can be reached in 10 minutes on foot. The most important lines depart from there (e.g. 33 and 73). The Kaiserplatz and Blücherplatz bus stops can also be reached on foot in just a few minutes.
It is a 20-minute walk to the main train station and 7-10 minutes by bus, and the Rothe Erde train station is an 8-minute bus ride. The Aquis Plaza and the shopping street can be reached in 8 minutes on foot and the market square, i.e. the city center, is a 15-minute walk away, and the city park can also be reached in 5 minutes. If you walk through the city park, you also come to the Lousberg, from which you have a wonderful view of Aachen. There are many shops nearby. A Penny, a Rewe, a Netto and a Norma as well as many Asian shops are within walking distance.
Overview of costs:
The monthly rent does not include electricity or wifi, which you will have to organize independently. The Room fees are paid to us (the current tenants) and cover the cost of the appliances and furniture in the apartment which will be left for you. The one-time deposit is to the landlord. Utility cost is included in the rent.
