Nachmieter gesucht - 2-Zimmer Wohnung in Berlin Neukoelln

Beginning any time after August 8th, our 2-room apartment (62 sq. m or approx 560 sq. ft.) is available to rent. The apartment consists of a main room, bedroom, kitchen, and full bath, along with two balconies. We get sun all day from two skylights and four large south-facing glass doors. We are at Schierkerstr. 22, a side street off Hermannstrasse in Berlin-Neukoellen, a few blocks from the U- and S-Bahn station Hermannstr. (U8, Ringbahn, S45 to the Schoenefeld Airport and S46). Travel time to Potsdamer Platz or Alexanderplatz is approx. 20 min., to Humboldt University 35 min. We have bakeries, markets, banks, drugstores and pharmacies all within walking distance and are only a few blocks from the beautiful Koernerpark. This is a “Nachmieter gesucht” type situation and we would ask you to purchase the furniture, linens, towels, kitchen appliances and cookware from us, as we did from the previous tenant (450 USD, or 350 Euros). The landlord has been extremely helpful and considerate and requires no security deposit. You can make arrangements to sign the year-long lease when you arrive in Berlin. Our rent is 427 Euros and we pay electric (about 30 Euros/month) and gas (about 45 Euros/month). This apartment has been occupied by American Fulbright grantees the past few years and includes everything you might need here – washing machine, TV/DVD that plays all formats of DVDs, computer printer and speakers, phone and answering machine, toaster, water cooker, beyond what was mentioned above.
