In ruhiger Nebenstraße und nur 50 Schritte entfernt von der Verlängerung des beliebten und grünen Landwehrkanals liegt meine gemütlich eingerichtete Wohnung, die ich für eine knappe Woche vergebe. Meine geräumige Küche und das große Wohnzimmer haben je einen Balkon zu einem weiten, sonnigen Hinterhof, in dem man ungestört picknicken kann. Die Küche bietet genug Platz zum Kochen und einen Esstisch für 3 Personen, meine supertolle Espresso-Maschine, einen Gasherd mit Ofen und was man sonst alles noch braucht. Das Wohnzimmer ist groß mit einem Esstisch für mehrere Personen, kleinem Schreibtisch, Couchecke und sehr großem Fernseher (mit Amazon prime accout). Das Bad ist schmal, hat aber eine Badewanne. Im Schlafzimmer steht ein Doppelbett und Kleiderschrank (und ein Kinderbett). Zusätzlich gibt es ein Kinderzimmer (indem auch ein einfaches Bett steht). WLAN, eine Waschmaschine und die Möglichkeit, Fahrräder in den Hinterhof zu stellen, sind vorhanden, neuerdings ist das WLAN allerdings manchmal ein bisschen instabil.

My comfortably furnished apartment, which I am giving away for a week, is located in a quiet side street and only 50 steps away from the extension of the popular and green Landwehr Canal, My spacious kitchen and the large living room each have a balcony facing a wide, sunny backyard where you can picnic undisturbed. The kitchen offers enough space for cooking and a dining table for 3 people, my super great espresso machine, a gas stove with oven and everything else you need. The living room is large with a dining table for several people, a small desk, a couch and a very large TV (with an amazon prime account). The bathroom is narrow but has a bathtub. The bedroom has a double bed and a wardrobe (and a baby cot). There is also a children's room (where there is also a simple bed). WLAN, a washing machine and the possibility to put bicycles in the back yard are available.The WLAN is a bit unstable lately, but it works.

Die nächste Bushaltestelle (Linie 171) ist wenige Meter entfernt, S-Bahnstation Sonnenallee (Ringbahn) zu Fuß ca. 10 min, mit dem Fahrrad keine 5 min. Der Landwehrkanal ist praktisch vor der Haustür und lädt zum spazieren ein, das Ausgehviertel Weserstraße, das während Corona zumindest Essen und Getränke to go bietet, keine keine 10 min zu Fuß entfernt. Unweit auch Spielplätze und kleine Parks, und jede Menge Supermärkte (oder die multikulturelle Sonnenallee, in der man auch alles bekommt, was man braucht). Zum Treptower Park braucht man mit Fahrrad keine Viertelstunde. Das Gebäude und auch viele Gebäude der Umgebung sind stilistisch den expressionistischen Berliner Bauten anzurechnen, weshalb man mit etwas geschultem Auge in der Umgebung auch ganz nette architektonische Entdeckungen machen kann.
The next bus stop (line 171) is a few meters away, S-Bahn station Sonnenallee (Ringbahn) on foot about 10 minutes, by bike less than 5 minutes. The Landwehr Canal is practically on the doorstep and invites you to stroll, the nightlife district Weserstraße, which during Corona at least offers food and drinks to go, none less than 10 minutes away on foot. Not far from the flat are also playgrounds and small parks, and lots of supermarkets (or the multicultural Sonnenallee, where you can get everything you need). It takes less than 15 mint to get to Treptower Park by bike. The building and many buildings in the area are stylistically belonging to Berlins expressionist Berlin period, which is why you can make very nice architectural discoveries if you a trained in looking at architecture a bit.
Letzte Woche hat innerhalb von ein zwei Tagen ein Ringeltaubenpaar ihr Nest auf meinem Balkon gebaut, Eier liegen auch schon drin... Ein Balkon ist also derzeit nicht wirklich nutzbar, dafür kann man die Tiere aber gut beobachten.
