Cozy flat near Mauerpark

My cozy 65qm flat in Prenzlauer Berg is located in the heart of Prenzlauer Berg. Public transport, shopping, eating, and Berlins most famous fleemarket is around the corner (every sunday - it comes with music and if you are lucky you will also see famous musicions who sometimes some there before they play the big Berlin venues). My place at the same time is very quiet and comes with a balcony, a big bathtub and WiFi.
Its also a very historic place as it is located next to the place where the wall devided east and west. My house is in the vibrant east, but its a 2min walk to cross the former border to the west. There is no wall anymore but a very lively and also green park and there are a lot of little and big things that remind of those days such as the Berlin Wall Memorial nearby. Take a stoll and enjoy history, life and all kinds of culture.

I also have some additional information as other guests mentioned them and I want you to feel as comfortable as possible:

About the bathroom:
First of all, I am really happy to welcome you at my unique place in Berlin. It’s not a hotel and therefore some things might seem a little bit unusual for you. First there is no shower curtain (I think they look terrible and always stick to your skin). If you don’t like sitting in the spacious bathtub while showering, you are really invited to take a relaxing bath. Enjoy!!
The white basket next to the toilet it’s not a rubbish bin. Please don’t throw any rubbish inside.

About the kitchen:
Further I want to mention is my Vietnamese coffee maker. I do not have a classic coffee maker as I dont like the taste of the coffee. If you are really into coffee you will love the Vietnamese one. You will find it in the kitchen (its a small metal sieve with a pressing disc). Just sit it on a cup, put the coffee inside, press it down using the pressing disc, place it on a cup and poor boiling water inside.
As I am not always in my flat when guests check out and check in, there might not be any milk in the refrigerator. But there is an Aldi supermarket two minutes from my place. It’s a bit hard to describe as it is bit hidden around the corner, but just look for it using google maps. It’s the easiest way to get milk and any other kind of food.

About the bedroom:
I like to wake up with the sun. Therefore the curtain in the bedroom is not sunproof (but almost). If you want it dark, please use the dark brown blanket that is in the bedroom. Just tuck it between window and frame (please be careful and don’t fall over).
Some people mentioned that my bed is pretty close to the floor. I actually never thought about this, but on the second sight it is true. Most people like how my bed looks and feels, but if you have serious problems with your knees and it’s very hard for you to stand up from a low position, it might be a problem for you.

About the living room:
you will find an iphone there. Please leave it plugged in as it does provide the internet, which is superfast and much better than the WIFI in my hood. If you promise to not loose it and kleep it chaged, you can also take it with you in order to safe data on your own phone.

And last but not least: Please dont feel offended by artwork. There is a naked backside of a man in my bathroom. It is a pic of a berlin based photographer and there is a picture of a girl wearing a meat dress. This is a drawing of Marc Ryden. Please google him. He is a very interesting artist. I am mentioning this as two of my guest did not like it and asked me to remove. As these pictures are important to me I decided to tell you instead of removing them. If you are an art lover, you will like them too. I am sure of that.
Smoking is ok on the balcony, you will find a big orange ashtray there ;-)
