Ich bin Helene und suche eine(n) neue(n) Mitbewohner für das 90m2 Haus in dem ich, in unmittelbarer Nähe zum Krankenhaus und zur Randwyck Fakultät, wohne.
I bevorzuge es mit einem Master Studenten, PhD oder einer arbeitenden Person zu wohnen, da ich selber PhD Student an der Uni bin. Nicht wundern, der Rest der Anzeige ist auf Englisch, weil die gleiche Anzeige auch auf holländischen Seiten reingestellt habe. :-)
About the house:
The house consists of a big open living room with an open kitchen and enough space for a big dining table (as you can see on the picture). On the 1. floor are 2 bedrooms (12 and 10m2). It has two bathrooms: A small one on the ground floor and a bigger one with a shower on the first floor. On the 2. floor is enough space for storage and a washing machine.
With the house come a garage (additional storage space) and free parking spaces right behind the house.
The rent is 620euros.
Details:
- The kitchen is equipped with a gas stove, an oven, a dish washer, a big fridge and an additional freezer we
have as well. Also, there is a little storage corner in the kitchen (one of the two doors you see on the
picture)
- The bathroom has an amazing rain shower (!) and for the rest it is not too big, but totally fine for 2 people
living there
- Pets are (unfortunately) not allowed in the house.
- Across the house we have a nice view on a little stream and a small park.
- In Winter you will notice that the house is well isolated and heating is not a problem at all.
- A washing machine is already present.
- In the garage is enough space to store bikes and other things.
- The person with the 10m2 bedroom gets an additional little storage ‘room’ where you have many shelves to
put your clothes and other stuff in.
- The landlord is very kind and helps out with every problem that appears. Therefore, we got a new
oven/stove and shower just recently.
About the neighbourhood:
The hospital and Randwyck faculty is 5 minutes away from here (by foot!) You can almost see it from the window ;-). Also the UM sports center is a minute away from here.
The next train station is next to the Randwyck faculty and therefore also only 5 min away.
The City center is 7-10min by bike.
There is a supermarket (plus), a GP and Pharmacy only 3 minutes from here (by bike).
The neighbours on the street are very nice and don’t mind a late BBQ with friends once in a while.
About me:
I am a PhD student at the Maastricht University and work at the Randwyck faculty. I will stay in Maastricht for the next 1 ½ years and would be happy to find someone to live with me at least for the next year.
I am a big fan of a clean and tidy environment and would prefer to live with someone that shares this characteristic. It does not need to be sterile, but it is also not supposed to look like a typical student house ;-).
During the week I usually work until 17h and like to spend my free time afterwards with sports, like Volleyball (be my guest to join!), friends (dinner, drinks, game nights, movies – I am quite a social person) and sometimes a quite evening at home, maybe with a book and a glas of wine.
Because of work, I prefer to not have big parties during the week (dinners and drinks are perfectly fine).. exceptions are always possible, like birthdays etc
My weekends are quite mixed, there are periods I am leaving to visit family, friends or do short city trips, and there are other periods where I like to stay in Maastricht.
I do not work at home anymore, but if you are a student and need space for studying, we can easily arrange some space for that, since the bedrooms are not too big to fit a proper table in there.
I am quite open to changes in the house, so if you have some furniture/deco stuff you would like to bring, be my guest – some things on the pictures will leave with my current flatmate anyways.
