Der Balkon ist recht geräumig und Richtung Osten, sodass man im Sommer draußen schön grillen kann. Die Waschküche ist im Keller des Gebäudes zu finden.
It is a fully furnished 1-room apartment with a pantry kitchen with two hotplates and a refrigerator, a microwave, a large wardrobe, a desk, a square dining table, a small bedside table, a single bed and two chairs. Das Wohnheim liegt mitten im FU-Campus und gegenüber dem berühmten Botanischen Garten. Die Umgebung ist voller Natur und sehr ruhig, ein Ausflug in den Grunewald und Richtung Potsdam am Wochenende bietet noch viel Freude.
Mit dem Bus X83 in 5-Minuten-Takt während der Hauptverkehrszeit an Werktagen kann man sowohl den S- und U-Bahnhof Rathaus Steglitz Richtung Stieglitz als auch den U-Bahnhof Dahlem-Dorf Richtung FU Berlin / Dahlem binnen von 5 Minuten erreichen. Mit der S1 kann man schnell Mitte erreichen, mit der verlängerten U3 Warschauer Str.
Zahlreiche Einkaufsmöglichkeiten am Bahnhof Rathaus Steglitz und entlang der Schlossstr, u.a. Mediamarkt, BioCompany, Rewe im Kaufhaus "Das Schloss", Edeka, Karstadt, DM usw. Montags bis Freitags fährt noch der N3 bis zur Haustür. Mit dem Bus 101 kann man innerhalb von 20 Minuten schnell City-West (Ku'damm, Wilmersdorf) erreichen.
