ABOUT THE FLAT

This place is my little slice of heaven. It's quaint, quiet, clean, bright and full of air. So, I thought I might share this little sanctuary with you. I know you'll love it as much as I do...

ABOUT ME

I live in my sweet little place, but I have a very flexible schedule (photographer and a freelancer) which leaves me a lot of time to travel and I take full advantage of this seeing as the rest of the work I do is from home... home can be anywhere... so this is why I've chosen to rent my flat out.

FLAT LAYOUT & LOCATION

It is a small, 2nd floor studio, which will comfortably fit a couple near the Boxhagener Platz and connects with Simon-Dach-Straße ... one the best area to eat and have drinks daily. Berlins best clubs like Berghain and Watergate are not far at all. There are a million restaurants on my street (Japanese, Thai, Vietnamese, Italian, Bakeries, Cafes, etc.) and several bars right downstairs as well! My flat has a kitchen and living room and bedroom (double bed) all in one big area, a bathroom with a shower, a fully equipped and brilliant kitchen. There is a table/desk/work area set up as well. There is parking available. It's a wonderful area right in the center of Friedrichshain, but it is so quiet so you can sleep well. l am located in in a very good place only a couple minutes walk to the U Bahn.

BEDROOM

You will have fresh linens on the bed. It's cosy and clean and you can relax in here.

BATHROOM

The bathroom is small and sweet and an iron, hairdryer, towels and washcloths are provided.

LIVING SPACE & AMENITIES

There is free wifi and it's very very fast. I will give you the code prior to arriving. There are plenty of plants to keep your living green. There is a very comfy couch to sit and enjoy some tea and a book or listen to some music. I have a stereo which is very very good. It has a long cord so you can hook it up to your computer and play music or a movie. You will have a key to the flat and the front door and can come and go, of course, as you please. The flat itself is so quiet and this is unusual for this city. Everyone who lives around me is quite peaceful as well, but also I am a musician and I'm quite free to make a little noise if I wish. It's a perfect place for a restful holiday.

KITCHEN/FOOD / RESTAURANTS / FOOD SHOPPING

Within 5 minutes walk you can find a small shop with food and within 10 you can find a larger one. There is also a cafe and more bars around... some with wifi as well. Do you like to cook? You're in luck... this a brilliant kitchen and I've done a fantastic job (if I may say so myself) of stocking it full. It has everything you could possibly need. There is plenty of space to move around and cook and even two people fit comfortably in it. You can help yourself to my tea while you are here and also to my spices. I wouldn't want your food to taste bland! There is a small fridge for you to store things in. Currently, I keep a vegetarian household, but, as mentioned earlier, there are plenty of food options around!

TRANSPORTATION

There are 2 convenient U Bahn stops outside my flat which will bring you anywhere you want. I have contacts for local bike rentals as well in case you would like to explore that way. I have maps that I will give you. I'm quite used to having guests and have no problem helping you!

PARKING

There is street parking around my flat and it's first come first serve. There is a closed courtyard for bike storage.
