Visitation Information: If you would like to visit the apartment. There are two times you can come. First: Sunday December 18th at 6pm. Second: Friday December 16th at 5pm. Please Email me to let me know if you will be coming to one of those times. The name on the doorbell should be Kelley and the person showing the apartment is named William. The apartment is in the Seitenflugel (side building, through the courtyard) on the 2nd floor).
The apartment is ~50 sq/meters, with a cool split-level layout on the 1st and 2nd floors of the building. It is an "Altbau," so it has high ceilings and wood floors. The bedroom and bathroom are downstairs and the kitchen and living room are upstairs.
The two floors are connected by a cool spiral staircase.
The apartment has its own central heating, which was just replaced and you control. It comes fully furnished, with most furniture fairly new (1-2 years old) and mainly from Ikea.
There is a 43" 4K TV, as well as a washer/dryer combination unit. The rental price includes all utilities (within a limit), that means not only the gas heating, water, and electricity but also the GEZ tax and the Internet/WIFI.
The apartment is extremely-well located in Berlin Kreuzberg near Oranienplatz. This is a very central and vibrant location (SO36), with lots of great restaurants, bars, and shops nearby. However, the apartment itself is on a quiet side street, which is very nice.
For transportation, it is a short (5-10 min) walk to both the Moritzplatz (U8) and Hermannplatz (U1) metro stations. The very useful M29 bus line is <1 minute away.
There is a 4 month minimum rental commitment. Maximum of 2 people. No pets. There is a one-month damage deposit that is refundable at the end of your stay, provided that you return the apartment in the condition it was given to you and do not exceed the utilities limits.
Please note that the gas and electrical usage included in the utilities is limited to a maximum included amount of 200 euros/month (2400/year). I have a fixed gas contract price contract at ~14 cents/kw, which is a good rate, however, the 200 euro/month limit is put in place so that people are reasonable at usage. I used to include it unlimited, but my last renter used 3 times more heating than anyone else ever had.
Due to COVID-19, extra health precautions are required:
* You must wear a mask to view the apartment.
* No more than 2 people can be in your group to view.
