The apartment has a beautiful, large and bright living room, a small kitchen equipped with a stove, fridge/freezer and dishwasher, a small hallway with a large built-in wardrobe, a bathroom with a bathtub, a mirror cabinet, as well as a balcony and a cellar. Die Wohnung liegt in Steglitz, Ortsteil Lichterfelde-West, sowohl nahe dem Charité Campus Benjamin Franklin als auch nahe der Freien Universität (FU). Von der Wohnung aus dürften sowohl der Campus Benjamin Franklin als auch viele Institute der FU mit dem Fahrrad in wenigen Minuten zu erreichen sein. Ca. drei Minuten zu Fuß vom Haus entfernt befindet sich eine Bushaltestelle der Linie M11, welche eine direkte Verbindung zu vielen Gebäuden der FU und zum U-Bahnhof Dahlem Dorf (U 3) bietet. Ca. zehn Minuten zu Fuß von der Wohnung entfernt befindet sich der S-Bahnhof Lichterfelde (West), von welchem mit der S 1 eine direkte Verbindung zum Potsdamer Platz und zur Friedrichstraße besteht. Seen wie der Schlachtensee, die Krumme Lanke oder der Wannsee sind per Fahrrad oder mit den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln gut zu erreichen. Fußläufig bestehen zahlreiche Einkaufsmöglichkeiten (Edeka ca. 5 min., Aldi und Lidl ca. 10 min zu Fuß). Die Gegend um die Drakestraße in Lichterfelde West ist ein sehr angenehmes Wohnviertel. Parken ist in der Regel kein Problem.

Both the Benjamin Franklin campus and many FU institutes can be reached by bike in just a few minutes from the apartment. There is a bus stop on line M11, about a three-minute walk from the house, which offers a direct connection to many FU buildings and to the Dahlem Dorf subway station (U 3). About a ten minute walk from the apartment is the Lichterfelde (West) S-Bahn station, from which there is a direct connection with the S 1 to Potsdamer Platz and Friedrichstrasse. Lakes such as Schlachtensee, Krumme Lanke or Wannsee are easy to reach by bike or public transport. There are numerous shopping opportunities within walking distance (Edeka approx. 5 minutes, Aldi and Lidl approx. 10 minutes on foot). The area around Drakestrasse in Lichterfelde West is a very pleasant residential area. Parking is usually not a problem
