The apartment is in an expat-friendly and quiet building. The main room is fairly large and includes a balcony, which gets sun through a tree in front of the large windows. It's mostly filled with ambient light throughout the day.
The kitchen is built-in and has a two burner electric stove, lots of cabinet space, and an under-counter fridge. There is a door between the kitchen and the main room, which allows for some separation between spaces. There is also a door between the main room and the entrance, where the bathroom is also located.
There is bicycle storage in the basement with a coin-operated washing machine and dryer. There is also private cellar space for storage, which is about a meter wide and two meters deep.
The location is near to the U6 line (Große Nelkenstraße), as well as the 72, 73, and 34 buses all a 2 minute walk away (door to platform). The U7 line is also nearby (about an 8 minute walk). It’s also easily accessible by bike to the city and surrounding areas as well.
The neighborhood is residential, but with grocery stores, restaurants, and kiosks nearby. It's quiet and its location is relaxed, but with easy access to central Frankfurt. There are also parks and walking trails nearby, including the Niddapark.
I am looking for someone to take over my lease (runs until July 2023, with the option to extend), and buy out the furniture and other important necessities, which you can see in the photos (460€ total). Applicants who would like to buy these things are preferred, and my landlord will have the final say in who takes over the flat. Applicants living alone without pets is his stated preference. The current take over date is April 1st, but May 1st is also possible.
"Other costs" are estimates, based on current electricity and internet bills. Internet is a DSL connection.
