Im Ortsteil Traisa mit seinen 3200 Einwohnern gibt es in Fußentfernung von unserem Haus ein breites Angebot an Freizeitaktivitäten (Laufen, Schwimmbad, Tennis, Reiten, 2 Sportvereine mit umfangreichem Angebot), einen sehr gut sortierten Supermarkt, 3 Bäckereien, davon ein Ökobäcker, verschiedene Restaurants, Apotheke, Sparkasse, Volksbank und diverse Ärzte.
Our private home is situated in a calm and secure position of the village Comfort and peace for guests from all over the world in secure environment: Traisa, part of the community Mühltal, about 6 kilometres far from the city center of Darmstadt. Our village is surrounded by forest and fields. In walking distance we have are a very good supermarket, 3 bakeries (one of them ecological), several restaurants, pharmacy, doctor’s/medical surgery, 2 bank offices, postoffice, a lot of sports opportunities like walking, jogging playing tennis, riding, cycling, swimming and 2 sports clubs with a big variety of activities.
2 Autobahnanschlüsse Mühltal oder Darmstadt/Darmstädter Kreuz) sind in 10-15 Minuten erreichbar.
Die öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel sind sehr gut, so dass man ohne Auto auskommt.
Es gibt ausgezeichnete ÖPNV-Verbindungen, u.a. nach Darmstadt, Frankfurt und in den Odenwald.

There are f.i. frequent trains from train station "Mühltal" (7 min. walk from here) to Darmstadt central station 15 min. Stop 1 University campus „Lichtwiese“ in 4 min., stop 2 "Darmstadt Ost" in 6 min., stop 3 "Darmstadt Nord"/Merck) in 8 min., stop 4 to Frankfurt central station in 23 min.
Das Duschbad mit Waschtrockner wird gemeinsam genutzt und gepflegt mit dem Mieter des benachbarten Apartments. Derzeit wohnt dort ein Doktorand der Informatik, ruhig, kooperativ und verantwortungsvoll.
