Hello everyone out there,
First of all, I'll write everything in english, because I'd like people from all around the place to be able to understand and contact me if they feel addressed to :)
my name ist Louise (most of the people around me call me LouLou), I am 21 years old and looking for an open-minded, spontaneous and friendly person, who'd be interested in sharing with me an 84 m2 big, old building flat in Prenzlauer Berg.
First something about the apartment and your possible future room:
The apartment is part of a nice, typical and central located building in the heart of Prenzlauer Berg. In the moment I'm in the middle of renovating the basics of the flat. That's why I haven't uploaded any pics except the floor plan yet. It's an old apartment and it's not going to be super new and shiny, but endowed with charm and some edges. And that's what I'd like to keep: a kind of self renovated unique apartment with charisma. And in addition to that I don't have much money to spend on constructions. :)
It has two big rooms, a small additional storing room, a kitchen and a bathroom.
Your future room is a little bigger than mine and has 28 m2. It's big, and because of the oriel (Erker) it's flooded with sun (faced to the South) and has raw timber piling. Unfortunately, the ceiling is lowered. I don't have the money and time to rip it off. But if you totally don't like it (it doesn't look bad at all) we can talk about ripping it off at some point together. But that'd mean quite some work, and you'd be in charge of it^^ Anyways, I am going to upload pictures this weekend.
All I can say is that it has become almost impossible to find an apartment like this in Prenzlauer Berg anymore.
The Dietrich-Bonhoeffer-Straße is right around the corner of the crossroads of Greifswalderstraße (M4 maximum 10 min to Alexanderplatz and one station to S Greifswalderstraße, S41/42, S8, S9) and Danzigerstraße (M10, 15 min to Warschauer Straße and 10 min to Eberswalderstraße). You have everything around. All kinds of low priced restaurants (from Pizza, to Aisan food, Döner, Shawarma and Burger), an Aldi, Rewe, Kaiser's and Organic Food Stores, little local stores and bars.
Let me say, the location is perfect. It's no problem to get anywhere either with public transportation or by bike.
Something about myself now :)
I am 21 years old, I was born in Cologne and moved to Berlin when I was 12.
In 11th Grade, I spent one year in the States, graduated two years ago from High School and took a year off to do some traveling.
I did a 6 weeks road trip through the USA and moved to Paris for 7 months to work there, to get to know the city, the people and the parisian life style. And of course to learn the language. :)
In September, I started an apprenticeship in the field of audiovisual media at Medienboard, the federal film funding institution of the region Berlin and Brandenburg. I love the world of film and hope to be able to produce my own films in the future. The apprenticeship keeps me pretty busy and leaves me not as free as if I was studying.
I consider myself as an very open-minded person, who loves traveling with all her heart, loves getting to know people from all around the world and their cultures and tries to make as much experiences and adventures as possible. For me laughing, making jokes and having good conversations about god and the world is very important.
In general, a good harmony at home, spontaneous ideas and trips on weekends, cooking, game and chill movie nights and good talks is also what I aim for. I love being around people, spending summer nights out wandering and dancing around Berlin and having friends over. On the other hand, life can get very busy, work can be stressful and people can be sometimes really annoying. Therefore I think that everyone has also the right to stay in the room and to do the things they need to do. I think it's always a question of balance, open conversations, about wishes, things that annoy or make one mad, new ideas and everyone's effort to make the common home a nice and cosy, comfortable place.
To me it's important to put everything on the table, discuss things out, to try to improve and to cooperate.
Keywords about myself: Open-mindness, communication, curiosity, internationality, the love to art, dancing and acting, blablabla.
It's better to talk in person about everything :)
If you share the same ideas, in case you think that we could get along, don't hesitate to contact me per mail:
or per Facebook: Lou Lou DeBatin
I'm excited to hear from you, all things that make you you, what you do and what you think is important for you in communal flat sharing.
Everything else can be figured and talked out afterwards. :)
Big hugs.
Cheers,
LouLou
