Das Zimmer befindet sich im vierten Stock des Sparkassen-Hochhauses in der Altstadt (Aufzug vorhanden) und ist knapp 15m² groß. Es hat zwei Fenster zur Nordwestseite hin, abends kann man also einen schönen Sonnenuntergang über dem roten Hügel sehen.
Das Zimmer ist vollständig möbliert (siehe Fotos).
Das Internet im Zimmer ist super. Wir haben eine Leitung mit 100 Mbit/s und der Router steht direkt nebenan. Das
Die Wohnung hat zusätzlich eine gemeinsam genutzte Küche, einen als Gemeinschaftsraum genutzen großen Gang, sowie ein Bad und eine separate Toilette, eine kleine Abstellkammer und ein Kellerabteil. Bisher sind wir uns im gemeinsam genutzen Bad nie in die Quere gekommen.

The room is located on the fourth floor of the "Sparkassen-Hochhaus" in the Bayreuther Altstadt (elevator available) and is about 15m². It has two windows to the northwest side, so you can see a beautiful sunset over the "Roter Hügel" in the evening.
The room is completely furnished (see photos) and free from 18. September to 28. February.
It might be possible to stay longer, but we can not guarantee that yet.
The apartment has a shared kitchen, a wide hallway we use as a common room, as well as a bath and a separate toilet.
Die Lage ist eigentlich ziemlich gut: mit dem Fahrrad kommt man sowohl in die Innenstadt, als auch zur Uni in unter einer Viertelstunde leicht hin. Ein absperrbarer Fahrradkäfig ist vorhanden.
Die Busverbindungen sind sehr gut: die Haltestelle Freiheitsplatz befindet sich direkt vor der Haustüre, dort fährt die 305 bis zum Bahnhof durch. Außerdem sind in Fußnähe noch die Haltestellen Scheffelstraße und Menzelplatz, jeweils eine Ecke weiter. Man kommt also eigentlich überall gut hin. Zur Uni muss man am Wittelsbacherring umsteigen, dauert aber insgesamt in der Regel auch nur ca. eine Viertelstunde.
Zu Fuß braucht man zur Innenstadt ca. 20 Minuten und zur Uni eher 25.
Die Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind gut, ein Rewe, Netto und ein Bäcker sind keine 5 Minuten Fußweg entfernt.

The location is quite good: by bicycle, you can get to the city center and the university in fifteen minutes. A locked bicycle shed is available.
The bus connections are also excellent: the bus stop "Freiheitsplatz" is right in front of the door, where line 305 goes through to the train station. In addition, the bus stops "Scheffelstraße" and "Menzelplatz" are within walking distance, each one corner further. So you can get everywhere quickly. You have to change at Wittelsbacherring to get to the university, but it usually also only takes about a quarter of an hour.
Walking to the city center takes about 20 minutes and to the university about 25 minutes.
The shopping facilities are good, a Rewe, Netto and a Bakery are less than 5 minutes walk away.
Deine Mitbewohner sind Jonny (Informatik), Lena (Physik) und Axel (Informatik). Das WG-Leben gestaltet sich allgemein sehr entspannt. Jeder kann seinen Freiraum haben, aber man sitzt auch gerne mal abends zusammen und schaut Filme oder Serien oder spielt etwas aus unserer großen Spielesammlung. Hin und wieder kochen oder backen wir auch gemeinsam (unsere Küche ist gut ausgestattet).

Your flatmates are Jonny (computer science), Lena (physics) and Axel (computer science). The life in out shared apartment is generally rather relaxed. Everybody has the free space he/her needs, but we also like to sit together here and there and watch movies or series or play something. Now and then we also cook or back together, for that we have a quite well stocked kitchen.
Die Küchenzeile wird vorraussichtlich noch vor April durch die Vermieter erneuert, geplant ist eine neue Einbauküche inklusive Geschirrspülmaschine.
