1st floor walk-up in an old and quiet building situated in a prime Kreuzberg location, right on the canal with Bergmannkiez nearby. 2 bedrooms + 1 living room.
Flat is fully furnished with electricity, heating, and water included in the price. Features a large living room with multiple seats, windows, plants and a Persian rug, a spacious bathroom, and large kitchen stocked with all appliances. Washing machine and drying rack are also available. Room on offer features a large desk, monitor, and office chair perfect for work-from-home arrangements, as well as a large bed, window, artwork, and sufficient closet space.
A new bicycle, helmet, and bike lock is also available for usage during the stay!
Flat is located centrally within Kreuzberg equidistant from Mehringdamm U6/U7, Mockernbrucke U7/U1/U3, and Hallesches Tor U6/U1/U3 stations. Many bus stops and bike-friendly lanes are also available nearby. Such transport connections can easily take you to surrounding neighborhoods incl. Neukolln, Mitte, Charlottenburg, etc. within 20 minutes.
Within walking distance are plenty of restaurants, spätis, small shops, and cafés, especially along Mehringdamm and in Mehringplatz. There are a few grocery stores nearby too, incl. Rewe, LPG Biomarkt, and Edeka. The iconic Bergmannkiez is also within a 10-15 min walk, home to wonderful cafés, restaurants, boutiques, and a food market.
Runners will also find the location attractive, as there is a running path along the canal that leads to Tiergarten in the west, as well as a path to other parks and Tempelhofer Feld.
Flat is quiet, especially during weekdays, since both of us work outside the home typically.
Flatshare is with a Mexican national named Jimena who speaks German, Spanish, and English. She works full-time in the sustainability and climate investment industry. She is very kind, easy-going, and typically keeps to herself with rare invitations to guests. Enjoys cooking and cleaning the flat (we have a weekly cleaning schedule).
No smoking is allowed inside the flat, and no pets either.
Responsive landlady and repair man are available and easily contactable in case of any issues (e.g. washing machine not working)
I hope to secure the replacement subletter in the next 3 weeks, thank you! I’m searching for someone who is clean, respectful, and will not damage or steal any of my items in the room/flat. Anmeldung is unfortunately not possible at the moment.
