The room will be rented unfurnished and is turned to a side street, so it is calm and fairly illuminated.
The apartment is equipped with appliances and has a modern Einbauküche, so one doesn't need to bring much beyond furniture for the bedroom.
Also, a third room serves as a shared office and guest room, so it may be very convenient if you work partially remotely.
The apartment is a cat's jump to the stations Moritzplatz (U8) and Prinzenstraße (U1), so it's pretty easy to get anywhere in town with public transportation. There are several supermarket options nearby (including Edeka, Denn's, and Netto) and the spree is just around 7 minutes walking.
Overall, the location is very central. If you're interested in Arts, the König Galerie and the Berlinische Galerie are in the hood, and you're also just 1,5 km away from Checkpoint Charlie. Kotti and Oranienplatz are reachable by foot, so there's also a fair amount of kneipen, cafes, and restaurants nearby.
I'm initially looking for a six-month trial with someone, but if living together goes well, it may be extended for an unlimited duration. Anmeldung is possible.
Co-living should be respectful, uncomplicated, and marked by shared responsibilities in house chores. I'm glad to have a beer or cook together with my housemate every once in a while.
