The apartment is located in a building facing the 2nd courtyard and it's on the 2nd floor. It is therefore quiet and well illuminated. The apartment is in an "Altbau" (Old Building) with old wooden floor and high ceilings. The room is not big (10 qm), but cosy and nice. The room is not furnished. From your window you have a view on the courtyard which is neat and green. In the building reigns a friendly atmosphere. Many families with children lives here and the neighbours know and occasionally help each other.
The apartment is located in the Görlitzer Straße, facing the Görlitzer park and surrounded by plenty of green areas. From home you can directly start a nice walk along the channel and the Treptower Park is not far away. The neighbourhood is very mixed. It offers neat and quite spots as well as grubby and chaotic places. Here live people form very different cultural background and social classes. The closest U-Bahn connection is Schlesisches Tor 10 minutes walking from home. Several bus stops are near by, reachable within 5-7 min walking. Bio-supermarket are within 10 minutes walking (A big, very well furnished LPG-Biomarkt and a Biocompany). REWE is within 5 minutes walking to reach.
I introduce briefly myself. I am Nicolò, I come from Italy and live since over six years in Berlin. I have a degree in fine arts and studied music in different institutes. I am working as a music teacher and freelance artist. Among my interests are meditation, yoga and spirituality. I eat vegan since over six years. Health and environment are very important themes for me. I neither smoke nor drink alcohol. I have a quite lifestyle, my weekdays are pretty routine. In the weekends I occasionally have a concert or enterprise some activities, such as hiking in the natuere, visiting museums or meeting a friend. I am reserved but friendly and open, can enjoy company but love long silent moments as well. In me you'll find a respectful flatmate, aware of your spaces and motivated in cultivated a friendly and harmonic relationship. The very same I wish from you.
Harmony, cleanliness, quietness, respect are keywords of the living in this apartment. I want to stress immediately this point: if we can not agree on the very practical aspects of our living together (such as respecting the other person's spaces, keeping the apartment clean and tidy every day) our relationship will base on negativity and dissatisfaction and will not last long. In the opposite case, on a solid base of respect and practical agreement we can cultivate a friendly and positive relationship with advantages for both.
The apartment has few, simple furnitures. The living space is minimal furnished, clean and tidy. There are very few domestic appliance as well. There is a washing machine but no dishwasher and refrigerator (I eat only fresh food). Environment engagement is an important theme in my living. I do not use chemical products for cleaning, buy only organic food and conduct a thrifty and simple lifestyle.
I wish to live with a person who is mature, respectful and willing to following the home's rule, such as quite times, cleaning plan etc... a person who has an understanding for keeping the living space clean and energetically positive, and - even being different - can live in tune with my mindful, healthy, "ascetic" lifestyle.
