We are all 3 German but also fluent in English and wrote everything in English so we don’t have to have an English and a German version.
There are 4 private rooms (2 in the front, 2 in the back ), a spacious living room with an open kitchen in the middle and 2 bathrooms.
Your room will be in the back half of the apartment. The room is 12qm but with the custom built bed and saving the space of the dresser which is in the hallway it doesn’t seem that small.
The whole Apartment is fully furnished.
The apartment is on the top floor right next to the Spree and has a big balcony overlooking the river. The Tiergarten is a 10minute Walk away and several smaller parks are also close by.
We are 5 minutes away from Ubahnhof Turmstraße (U9) and 8 minutes away from Sbahnhof Bellevue (S5, S7, S75, S9). As well as several bus Stations nearby.
There are a lot of different food options and 3 different supermarkets in a 10 minute radius.
We (Tim, Vincent, Alagie) are three really close friends and the one that is leaving (Salomé) also became a really close friend of ours over the year she lived with us. We do a lot of stuff together and have people over quite often. Everyone still has their own friends and all that so it’s not mandatory to do everything together.
We have a shared bank account which covers heating and electricity, Wi-Fi, someone coming to clean every 2 weeks and replacing furniture or similar things if something breaks.
Because of the energy crisis in Germany we can not exactly predict how much heating and electricity will cost. We previously payed 100€ per person per month but expect it to go up to something around 150€. This will be extra to the rent and is something everyone in the WG pays.
You can of course talk to the previous tenant who is moving out, so she can tell you her experience and all that, just reach out and we will put you in contact with her.
You are also more than welcome to bring a friend or relative along to the viewing if we invite you for one :)
