Spacious room in a 6er WG in the heart of Neukölln. The room is about 14m2 big (the square footage is approximated) and comprises:
- a very comfortable queen size bed, a desk and chair, a shelf anda clothes rack to store your belongings. The window is facing the internal courtyard, which offers the advantage of being super calm and quiet. The room is on the 4th floor (no elevator), together with other 3 rooms and a bathroom. Kitchen/living room, a second bathroom, two other rooms and the big terrace are instead on the 5th floor. Both floors can be accessed independently.
The area is very well connected to most of the other districts in Berlin. Just around the corner, busses M41 and M43 directly lead you to (respectively) Hauptbahnhof and Ostkreuz, the two main train stations in Berlin. Alternatively, the closest U-Bahn station is Rathaus Neukölln (U7) and it is 5 minutes walk from the apartment. The U7 connects you directly to the districts of Schöneberg and Charlottenburg, and it is just one stop away to catch the U8 if you wish to go to Kreuzberg, Mitte or Prenzlauer Berg. Tempelhofer Feld can be reached by foot in 15-20 minutes. The district is super diverse and it is full of delicious restaurants, chill bars and little underground clubs. It is also extremely close to the canal, beautiful spot for taking walks and check out second-hand vintage markets every second Sunday. All of us really enjoy living in this part of berlin. In terms of grocery shops, Lidl is 2 minutes walk, REWE and ALDI are 5 minutes walk. A big shopping mall is also nearby with shops of every kind, including MediaMarkt, TK MAxx, DM and many others.
We are Andrea (from Italy), Caspar, Marie and Chrissy and Marina (from Germany).We bonded a lot as a WG and do a lot together, especially during the weekends, such as going to clubs/festivals but also throwing BBQ parties on our terrace. Of course, don't feel forced to participate in any of these events if you don't feel like it, but I am sure you would enjoy them. We are very respectful and will try do to never make you feel uncomfortable. We established a weekly cleaning schedule to keep the flat always in good conditions. We are looking for someone who is clean and respectful. Our neighbors are also an international 6er WG with students and young professionals from Germany, France, Belgium, Italy and the US. We are a big community of friends which is what makes this place even more special. So who are we looking for? Just you, be yourself :)
Online viewings are possible but not preferred. In order to have a shot to meet us all, it is preferable to come during the evening. We would show you around and then have a talk/drink to get to know you better. Bring your favorite drink if you are into that. The cold cost of the room is 645 Euro for the whole month with heating. The caution is 900 euro, i.e. on month and a half of the monthly rend.
