The room is big (17qm), bright with a big window and quiet as it's facing the backyard/Hinterhof. It’s furnished with a bed (palette or black frame bed, you can choose) and a big wardrobe. There's a desk and chair my current flatmate will be leaving behind, which you could take over. You can bring your own things too of course!
Ideally we meet in person before but also happy to FaceTime if that’s the only option for you.
It’s really important for me to keep the flat tidy and clean. The flat really isn’t huge so it’s not made to have visitors often. I do like a dance but have a normal day/night rhythm, it would be good to be somewhat on the same page about this.
The pictures are also all from before summer 2023 so it’s a little greener now 🌱

Ideal location - our street is super quiet, we’re literally one row behind the Feld and there’s a bunch of nice bars/restaurants in our Kiez.
U8 from Leinestraße takes 2 stops to Hermannplatz, 4 to Kottbusser Tor, 15 mins to Prenzlauer Berg… also easy to get to Bergmannkiez and Mitte. I spend 90% of my time outside of work in Neukölln and Kreuzberg.
Your company is me: Sarah, 26, originally German and moved to Berlin 2 years ago after 10 years in London so equally happy if you're international or German. Currently helping build a social startup through an EU scholarship. In my free time I DJ and a lot of my energy goes towards music, my collective and playing any gig I can get my hands on. I love walking, meditation and try to live consciously (amazing if you know who Chopra and Tolle are) and be a good influence on the people around me. The flat has always been vegan and it would be great if you are too (or at least mostly!).

The room is available from April 7th, with slight flexibility. My current flatmate is moving out to move back to Switzerland. My landlord is happy to provide Anmeldung/registration for a charge of 30€ a month. The tenancy ends end of March 2025 when the building gets renovated. This is already a delay from the initial move out end of March 2024.
The Nebenkosten/bills are an estimate based on last year but will be adjusted accordingly when this year's update comes in.
