The very bright 17.5 m2 room in a shared flat comes with a little balcony, wooden floor and is furnished with old (wooden) furniture. Room and flat are fully equipped with everything needed to live. You will find a 1.4 m bed, a small couch, desk and a hammock to enjoy reading in the afternoon sun. The room is very light and has a small balcony in the western direction.
It’s very calm, as are one the last floor and traffic on the Gustav Müller Str. is low. The place is in a typical Berlin house from 1909, 4th floor, located in Gustav-Müller Str. in the neighbourhood called “Rote Insel” – a quiet, very beautiful and green area of Berlin which is extremely well connected within the city, to the universities, and 10 minutes by foot to one of the main train stations (Südkreuz). Parks, a number of lovely cafés are in 3–5 minutes walking distance and the lively Akazienstr. is 15 minutes away. Tempelhofer Feld and Volkspark Wilmersdorf are reachable in 10–15 minutes by bike.
Shadi from Tehran lives in the other room. She currently writes her PhD thesis in Psychology and is a wonderful, considerate and respectful flatmate.
We would prefer a female flatmate who is rather quiet, tidy and clean without a pet and non-smoker. Visitors and parties are welcome but not too often specially not during the weekdays. We are looking for someone who can speak English as well as German.
The rent is 410,- warm, plus a deposit of 1,230,- (three months rent). Utility costs (water, heating, internet) are included, additional bills are shared among the flatmates.
Please write briefly about yourself, what you do for a living and what are your hobbies and what you look for in a shared flat. Send it in English because the flatmate speaks English. It is also important that you speak German. ;)
