Student looking for friendly and fun flatshare ✨

Hello! My name is Monica, I am a 30 year old female and will be moving to Berlin to pursue a Master's Degree in Digital Journalism. I’ve been living in Berlin for 6 months now and I'm still hopeful for a long term contract! I don’t speak German (yet) but am enrolling in classes to learn :)

I'm from San Francisco, California, where I worked as an office manager during the weekdays and at a bar as a hostess during the weekends. During the day, I love to ride my bike around the city and spend time outside in local parks, with friends or alone. I love finding cute cafes to read or work at during the day, and bars to chill at night. During my free time, I also listen to true-crime podcasts, read feminist literature, play video games (I love Zelda!) or paint flowers in watercolor. Whenever possible, I love to travel. I live in a very vibrant and historical neighborhood (Mission District) in San Francisco and am hoping to find the same in Berlin.

I am quiet and prefer to keep my personal and common spaces clean. I don't smoke but wouldn't mind a flatmate who does. I like to go out for drinks and I occasionally go clubbing but I never bring the party home with me.

My ideal move in date would be May 1, but would be able to move in earlier if it feels right! I am also only looking for places where I can get Anmeldung. Please let me know if that works and if you're interested in learning more about me.
