Looking for a room :) From June 15th - August 10th !

Hello everyone!

My name is Jacqueline Davidson (25F). I have been living in a very lovely WG, and called this place home for over a year. Unfortunately the landlord refuses to renew our lease and so my wonderful flatmates and I have had to separate. Soooo I’m looking for a new apartment.

I moved to Berlin from Canada in March 2022. I worked full time as a barista for a while, and now I work part-time as a freelance copywriter, and am currently looking for a part-time barista job. Starting in august, I will be moving back to Canada to go back to school and become a paramedic. Therefore, I am only looking to move into a new WG between June 15th and August 10th. Those dates are slightly flexible.

As a roommate I would say I am respectful and engaged. I really love to live in a community space where flatmates care about one-another. I cook a lot; every day, and love to share the food I make, whether that means eating together or not. I am clean, and cleanliness is important to me. In my current flat we clean the bathrooms once a week, vacuum when necessary, and take turns taking out the garbage. The dishes are always done and the kitchen looks quite clean. Sometimes we leave our things lying around: laptops, glasses, headphones, chargers….but we agree that these things make the house feel lived in and homey, so we don’t care about that so much.

I am quite a hobby person, so there are lots of things I like to do in my free time. I crochet a lot, read a lot, and also make notebooks by hand. I am super active, and get some kind of exercise in basically every day. I love to climb, run, and hike and try and get out of the city as much as possible for these things. I have some lovely friends in Berlin as well. We usually go out for a drink, go see movies, stay in and have dinner, and occasionally go out dancing.

I am really looking forward to finding a new home, and hope to hear from you soon!
